Do people have no patience with storylines that last more than 2 episodes these days?

Come on Eastenders are you telling us that one day your wife is acting normally then the next day she has had a complete personality transplant and the husband has not even noticed she is acting like a completely different woman

How much longer is she going to keep it to herself? she has a duty to go to the police before he rapes anyone else.

I think maybe the end was that she had told him . Mick looked in shock
I think there's more to this story, what if Linda gets preggers via the Deanster ? |

Very good episode tonight.
I'm enjoying the storyline but seeing Linda suffering alone is breaking my heart. Kudos to Kellie Bright. Fantastic acting. That final scene was so sad. I'm looking forward to Mick finding out and hurting Dean. I'm disliking him more and more with each episode. The scenes between Nancy and Dexter made me cringe, init doe. Bore off Dexter you annoying prat. Liking Ronnie and Charlie. Roxy is making me laugh a lot at the mo. Aleks is such a sleaze but I enjoy the character. Looking forward to Ronnie's reaction when she finds out what Aleks has been upto. The whole Max and Emma thing is getting my attention now. She is definitely up to something. I wish Abi would bugger off to uni...or just anywhere else other than Walford. Lauren dropping all that food...???...silly cow! |

I don't want to get into anything too personal on here but to those saying why hasn't linda said anything, shame on you. Some people never tell anyone.

I don't think that Linda told Mick, that she had been raped. I think that Mick was in shock after she stopped him and didn't know how to react, so told her that he loved her. The storyline is lasting until around Christmas.

Oh dear...just as Linda thinks things can't get any worse she finds out that her mum cheated on her dad, and her daughter calls her a racist.
At least Elaine's on the right track now. Interesting that she doesn't trust Babe.Nice scenes with Ronnie and Charlie ![]() Just as Abi livens up and gets interesting the family get a new drip in the shape of Emma. She now gets the tittle of biggest bore on the show. |

Great episode. Linda is heartbreaking to watch. Loved Elaine and I am hating Dean more than ever.

Of course he's noticed. What show are you watching?
![]() bit.![]() In addition to your post about people no longer having the patience for a storyline to say and do what it needs to say and do in the timespan it needs to say and do (yeah, that was long winded. but anywho... ), it makes sense that the storyline would so-called 'drag' on. It is a story about rape fgs! How long does the victim take to confess what happened to them? It can take a long time, sometimes never for them to say anything. And what precisely can Mick do? Batting out of her? Threaten her? Give her ultimatums? He is already aware something is wrong and he can't push her to say anything until she is ready to in her own time. So instead he calls Linda's mum to see if she can help because she is perhaps the closest person Linda can confined in apart from him. Linda can't or doesn't. How would you coax a rape victim to confess what happened to them, and not just any rape victim but the wife to her husband? Already Linda had all sorts of voices get into her head, voices that tell her 'oh, maybe she led him on' (Sharon), 'oh, don't tell him, it will ruin your marriage' (Elaine) and so on. Isn't it any wonder she's not that keen to say anything? I like how EE have done this, tbh. The affects of a rape run very deep. I like how they've allowed us to see how it can affect a close and loving marriage, how it can rip it a part. I like how they let us see how the rape goes beyond the pain of the victim but the affecting their loved ones too. As long as the storyline is written in the way it has w/o the sensationalism and good pacing, I should hope that it is worth the wait. |

It's been a good week. Are Summerhayes and Bryant playing Max and the Brannings? Why would a copper stalk a girl!!
The Linda story is so sad. Elaine is a great character I love what she said to Johnny and her remarks about Babe! I hate the hate Babe gets, she's clearly the new Archie. This seems to be going on until Christmas with the Mick's real mum reveal, Sylvie and the fact that Mick and Linda aren't actually married (that isn't a big deal really these days? All the family are living in the pub.) |

Also loved the Charlie and Ronnie scene. It's good to see Dot happy as well.
Shame Aleks is a sleezeball, otherwise watching Roxy and Ronnie happy with their lot makes a refreshing change. But I really like their sisterly relationship w/o the obsessing Ronnie has over Roxy, and Roxy being an immature brat. |
