this is exactly why this forum has gone downhill. reporting threads like this is just utterly absurd. do you believe in censorship too?
![]() You don't have a problem when people make thread apon thread slagging off SB. In fact you take great pleasure and delight sticking the boot in. |

So because he really likes Nancy and Nancy really likes him and they have sex, it means that he is sleazy. Grow up!!

The facts are that EE are lumbered with him and now have to find something for him to do. Poor Nancy.
As for the "poor Nancy" comment, the script clearly shows a mutual affection between the two, and it is Nancy that suggests getting it on in the back of the vehicle. Lucky Dexter! |

Spot the irony in this post ladies and gentlemen.
![]() You don't have a problem when people make thread apon thread slagging off SB. In fact you take great pleasure and delight sticking the boot in. by the way, I don't know who you are so it's weird you seem to know what I post about. also as I'm far from the only one who criticises Blackburn so I don't know why you're targeting me. my criticism of Blackburn is also quite mild compared to some. my point was, I'm not at all a fan of dexter or Blackburn but someone who reports threads simply because they don't like seeing those threads is ridiculous. |

The forums are clogged up enough without having the same tedious hate threads. There are 2 Dexter threads which could jave easily just been one. I bet if this was Max or Mick who were getting abused you would not care how many got deleted. As its Dextet who cares eh? |

Interesting. I don't see why the above posters were banned. Sorry to darken the mood but there have been several posters making blatantly racist, xenophobic and hateful posts in General and Politics, one poster even said that he didn't believe that Jews were killed in gas chambers in the Final Solution, he also questioned the number of people killed and implied that it was a Jewish conspiracy- he called it the "Holocaust or Hoax". He's still posting.
For me the ONLY restrictions which should ever be applied to free speech in any public forum are whether or not the comments in question are obscene, threatening, defamatory or if they reveal private information about people. A comment being merely offensive should not, under any circumstances, result in a ban. |

mo mouse and uncle q were banned because people didn't like their humour. that's what I mean. they were never rude or abusive but people complained about their posts.
![]() On topic, get off Dexter's back lol. He's not that bad, he's not even speaking that fast now. I think you're just trying to make another problem. If anything it was Nancy being sleazy, she went to look for him remember? |

I don't find him sleazy but I do find Dexter a pointless character. He is obviously being paired off with Nancy as a last ditch attempt to save the character but I don't see any real chemistry between them.
If he left tomorrow I would not miss him. I think he could have been a good character but was miscast. |

Well, while those views expressed are utterly abhorrent and moronic, he is entitled to his opinion and to express it in public. You either agree with freedom of speech or you do not.

For me making hateful comments in the way he has is far worse than a crude or "offensive" joke, that's the point I was making. It's people like this poster who use the freedom of speech argument when in reality all they are doing is peddling hatred. Do you see what I mean? I know posters on other forums who have been banned for challenging people like this in a perfectly reasonable way, I don't understand the logic behind that. And I never said that poster should be banned. |

Yeah, absolutely, I wasn't intending my post as a critique of your position. It was directed and intellectually and morally illiterate forum moderators you tend to find across the internet.
The people who get themselves into these positions are often the least suitable people imaginable. ![]() I agree. As for some posters they seem to type before using their brain, the nonsense people write is astonishing. Personally if I were a BNP supporter and Holocaust denier I wouldn't post it on a public forum in the first place, but that's the level of idiocy we're dealing with here. |

I wasn't a fan when she came in but have really warmed to her of late. She is the one of the younger cast who sees below the superficial as her lovely friendship with Tanwar is showing. Her dress sense is a visable sign to audience that she is an individual. This linking with Dexter is a mistake but I can see why on paper it fits with her character. The sooner they can bring another ethnic family into EE the better. 2015 hopefully. Dexter can then be ditched. |

Can they not sack him if he is so bad. Why on earth is it sad for Nancy I like Dexter but can appreciate others don't. However I cannot stand Mick but don't think 'Poor Linda' because she has to work with him. What a bizarre attitude.

For all those people complaining about other members on here making comments that they're completely 100% allowed to make, instead of showing them the DS exit door, how about you consider not letting it hit you on the way out..
This forum is welcome to everyone - not just a small gang of selfish members. Stop clogging up the forum with your sickly nostalgic memories of how things used to be. THINGS CHANGE. Deal with it.. |

I don't understand how Dexter, a character in a TV show can damage another character. Surely if any destruction was afoot that would be down to the writers and so on. As for getting rid of Dexter, though your low opinions of him seem to form the majority on here they are not necessarily the majority elsewhere and I say thank goodness

I think Cora Cross would have been axed by DTC had Lorraine Newman not created the Ava storyline

I saw a comment saying that Cora's actress might have been a good Babe or Elaine. Babe maybe, but I can't see Elaine's huge matriarchal loving grandma presence coming across quite so well with breath laced heavily with fag ash, whiskey, and shame.

How is that?
Newman caused Cora's downfall by bringing in Dexter & Sam because Ava and Cora never really got off the ground, Dexter & Sam were awful casting choices but DTC axed Ava & Sam instead of Dexter & Sam leaving Cora without any of her daughters in the Square. Cora in my book deserves to be in the show and Ann Mitchell deserves a bit more respect from Dominic Treadwell- Collins. |
