There are some who I enjoy hating and get a laugh out of like Gary Windass for example but the one which really sticks in my mind for absolutely despising is Stacey's mate from the psychiatric ward, Becca.

I still think about her sometimes and how she angered me and made my skin crawl.

Carl King. I couldn't stand him, he was nice to look at but that was ruined by the character being such a prick. Jai Sharma has replaced him now though.

I don't think there's been anyone in EastEnders I truly hated, not recently anyway. Derek was just ridiculous, Dexter's annoying but I wouldn't say I hated him, and most of the "villains" are often layered enough that you don't end up outright hating them.

I used to dislike Abi Branning from EE...but now that she's becoming slightly psychotic from all the Branning hell she's been through in that house she's becoming more interesting

Joey Branning. I hated that character so much, he was written awfully and David Witts wasn't the most accomplished actor either.

Didge and Ringo, both from Neighbours. They were a blight on Ramsey Street. I was so happy when their characters were killed off, meaning there was no chance of a return.

Carl King for me too! He was so smarmy, I hated him. There was nothing to like. Norris from Corrie is a pain in the butt, Tracey Barlow is really annoying, I hate her. Alfie Moon too! I can't stand the man and lastly Sharon Mitchell/Rickman and so on gets right up my nose because of bad acting.

This. I have spent years willing Abi under the front yard with her bloody guinea pigs but she's finally got my interest after all these years. She was fabulous tonight with her prim and proper high neck blouse and slightly unhinged look in her eyes. Give her a pair of black leather gloves and Walford could have its own young Joan Ferguson

I am completely indifferent to Dexter. Don't like him or hate him. I just find him bland and tend to retreat into my happy place - often involving Charlie Cotton (new, not old, natch) - whenever he's on screen.

Derek Branning. Despise is too nice a word for how I felt about him.

Corrie: Les Battersby...Sean Tully...Tracy Barlow (since Kate Ford took on the role; she wasn't bad beforehand)..Fiz Stape...never liked Norris Cole that much, nor Alec Gilroy.
