ALFIE AND PETER from EE oh my god. Peter is unbelievably annoying and ALWAYS too angry/aggressive no matter what he's doing (it's the same with alfie as well really) and surely he's not MEANT to be like that so it might just be the actor

I wouldn't say Alfie was aggressive, he gets a bit pissed off with Stacey because she interferes but he's not angry ALL the time. And Shane Richie is usually quite an easy going person in interviews, laughing and joking and that's not aggressive.

Izzy from Neighbours. I was watching neighbours less and less towards the end of her stint but when I heard she was getting her comeuppance I had to watch it and boy did I cheer

Fizz (Corrie), Alfie (EE), Kylie (Corrie), Cora (EE) - These characters I really hate, there are plenty more who I just dislike.

I would warm to the Philth - but only if I stood next to him as he was burned at the stake.

EE - Alfie Moon - has become more and more unlikeable as the years have passed. I don't know if it's the way he's being written or the actors lack of ability but I've never wanted to punch a character more. Plus, Kat is so much better when away from him.
EE - Billy Mitchell - pointless idiot - so weak he makes my skin crawl.

Corrie - Faye - I no longer watch - just FF through her scenes.
Corrie - Fiz - I really liked Fiz but the babyvoice, moaning, lack of sympathy for Roy during the Hayley suicide SL have made me hate her. Am hoping Cillas return might bring her back.

Crimes against acting and character development.

I have to say I don't think I have ever loathed a character as much as Corrie's "hilarious" Mary though. Her monotone delivery and pathetic "surreal" character makes my flesh crawl.

Agreed. Mary and Norris are horrible characters, they feed of others misery but have no real lives of their own. Norris's court scenes last week were awful, he may think Peter is guilty but he had no thought for Ken's feelings at all. In contrast Rita loved Tina and clearly thinks Peter is guilty but remained dignified in court for the sake of her friend Ken.

They are spiteful characters and never make me laugh. I long for the day Mary, Norris and Sean catch a bus together and flies off the end of a cliff somewhere!

Don't watch EE but heartily agree with the other 3. Debbie Dingle has to be the most miserable, snappy character in soap. Why she'd have any friends or relationships is a complete mystery.
