This is the most excited I've been about an EastEnders Christmas since the B&B blew up

I like this a lot.

Maybe leave Sylvie out of it.

But have the rape reveal, followed by mick beating up dean, with Shirley then revealing everything, and then Stan thinks "f*** this, I'm dying", in true Stan fashion!

This sounds plausible but farcical at the same time of you see what I mean.

I hope they don't drag the rape sl out till Christmas and Mick finds out before then, but looking at next weeks schedules he hasn't got a clue. I would prefer the Christmas reveal to be Shirley coming back and revealing the truth about Mick and Dean, maybe after Dean has left or been despatched.

Since his arrival they've been talking about this temper that Mick has. I think when it all comes out Mick goes mad and goes after Dean, Shirley then goes after Mick to try and stop him from possibly killing Dean and then just at the moment where Dean's life is in the palm of Mick's hands Shirley screams
"NO Mick! You can't! He's your brother!"

Shirley gets on the karaoke and sings to Mick who is licking Dean, 'He ain't Mary Berry, he's your brother'.

Its stupid that Mick cant work out right now what is wrong with Linda any other husband would know straight away. This Christmas day build up better be worth it

No they wouldn't. And that's the point Easties are trying to make.

It could all be sparked off when Mick insists that Dean be included in the Carter's Christmas day dinner. To have to feed him at the very table he raped her on would be too much for her. If Mick demanded WHY she didn't want 'their nephew' there for Christmas dinner, she could finally tell him.

I do think Dean's possible rape in prison years ago will be part of this story. In my opinion, he's been headed for a mental breakdown for quite awhile that was finally tipped off by Shirley running off.

Of course
Spoiler
Linda's pregnancy will be a big part of this too.
I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of Linda wandering around with a horrified look on her face in the coming weeks. ”

I agree.

I don't know. She's weeping uncontrollably, refusing to come down stairs, refusing to dress up, flinching when he comes near her, pushing him off when he touches her, screaming at guests and seriously over reacting at Dexter and Nancy kissing Hmm I think only someone as thick as Mick wouldn't consider something along those lines has happened. Even her Mum who is as thick if not thicker than Mick at least considered sexual activity as a reason behind this.

Obviously the first few days I could understand them not knowing what happened to her but now all that you mentioned has gone on, you would have to be blind or stupid not to realise the issue.

Yeah and Linda never goes anywhere so for her to have been raped it would have had to be by someone close to them which you just wouldn't begin to think of. There are other reasons why someone might be down in the dumps and off sex.

So if your wife didn't want sex with you and she started to cry hysterically you wouldn't think something really bad might of happened to her? Of course most husbands would work it out. Mick's just stupid.

Linda went out the day after being raped and was missing for ages. Of course she goes out but I'm not sure that is the point. She is far from being merely down in the dumps. She was weeping uncontrollably in her Mum's arms the other day and thick Mick just stood in the doorway looking nonplussed. Anyway, if there are other reasons to her current way out of character actions then why hasn't Mick come up with any of these He doesn't seem to have a clue.

Yeah it's obvious. I can't wait to sit around my tv on Christmas Day and watch a man find out his wife/girlfriend was rapped by his nephew who is actually his brother (he'll find that out too on Christmas Day) it's going to be such a uplifting thing to watch on Christmas Day.

Not lol!

At which point she was already feeling low and behaving out of character.

Either way, whichever bombshell is dropped first and whatever follows afterwards - I think we are headed for the most iconic and dramatic Christmas EastEnders has seen in years. Can't wait!

More than 2 months with 4 episodes a week of her struggling?

Linda's flinching when Mick tries to touch her, wearing clothes that cover her whole body, not wearing make up or doing her hair, staying in bed a lot, looking haunted and getting very upset frequently, acting strangely around one particular man, being overly protective of her daughter regarding men and freaks out when Mick tries to have sex with her... I think it'd be pretty clear to anyone in real life that she's been raped.

I can see Stan dying on Christmas Day.
