Okay.
Dexter is a notable irritant, but he's a notable irritant amongst an overwhelmingly stellar and bulletproof cast. He has 'plot device' stamped on his forehead and appears exclusively on a D-List level.
Dexter was a MAJOR problem in the Newman era when he dominated the show.. Now he's just an problem. An embarrassing problem because he is one and only remnant from a diabolical era. But there is so much positivity around the show at the moment that I'm not doing to dwell on one small irritant.

I still don't understand What the hating on Dexter is all about.
Also they've brought back enough characters personally I think they should focus more on the current cast. I don't think I'll be able to take another Eastenders "shock" return.

This its very tedious. We hate Dexter lets make a thread, We hate Fatboy lets make a thread. We hate Philth lets make a thread. Its so boring now. No wonder people report these silly threads.
It is bizarre that he got rid of Poppy and Kirsty who were better actresses and characters but has kept Fatboy and Dexter.
