EastEnders - Number 23

Are the Slater's/Moon's staying temporarily at Jake and Sadie's old house (saw some spoiler photos on twitter), I hope so! The Slater's belong at number 23, I hope they're not getting rid of the set!

I think a stint in prison is on the cards for Alfie as doesn't Shane leave to do this "entertainment" show soon or at least he's already left to do it and we'll see him leave off screen before the end of the year?

He now has fraud and breaking and entering/squatting to his name!

The gameshow was filmed in July I believe. He does have a panto coming up though, and in one of his interviews he mentioned that he'd like to tour with his band if he could get a break from EE. Maybe they'll send him to prison to accommodate that, like they did with Lacey's Our Girl filming and some of Patsy Palmer's breaks.

It's funny that he's now the one squatting because he's unknowingly done it before (Jake and Danny told him they'd arranged a tenancy.) He wasn't impressed, but desperate times I guess. It sounds like the insurance doesn't pay out, from the spoilers.

23 went up in flames. I can't see anyone moving into that house again.

Number 23 is where the Moons/Slaters lived and where Alfie accidently burnt down!

Alfie gets drunk this week after he receives bad news, possibly that the insurance company don't pay out and I read somewhere that Masood throws him out and he gets someone to pick the lock of Jake and Sadie's old place so that he and his family can squat there.

I think Alfie will go to prison, I mean he surely can't get away with arson and if the insurance company don't pay out there must be a reason.

Oh! And NOOOO! That's where the moon/slaters belong! They best be allowed back at number 23, I'll never forgive dtc! They've lived in that house for over 14 years!

Jake and Sadie rented their house from Janine so presumably its still owned by her as the sign outside says 'to let' not 'for sale'. I find it odd Alfie would want to live in a house own by Janine, he'll be paying rent to the woman who murdered his cousin.

I agree with the OP number 23 is the Slater's house and once its restored I hope they move back in. Its owned by the council though so i'm not sure how that would work because even if Alfie isn't found out for burning it down they were going to be evicted anyway for not paying their rent. The only way they realistically move back in would be if the bought it from the council but of course they're skint.

Really? It looked to me as if he knew what he was doing and it was no accident. The sooner this moron goes to prison the better. Arson, insurance fraud, breaking and entering - he would get years (hopefully).
