1. Claudia just makes the show, she is deliciously devilishly funny.

2. I love Jake and Janette but I found the choreography of the jive too frantic and whoever the singer was that murdered the Elvis number should be dropped asap.

3. I cannot take Trent seriously as a dancer. He is too small and skinny. Him trying to be all manly in the Rumba had me in stiches.

4. Tim, Scott and Alison all think they are far better than they really are. In fact I now do not watch Tim or Alison at all, I just watch Natalie and Alijaz instead - they are stunning (both as people and as dancers).

5. I really want Judy to stay because I can't wait to see Andy Murray in the audience. Can you imagine him having to sit through Judy and Anton attempting a rumba - it would be too funny for words!.

1. I just don't get the Caroline thing, I never do. That dance was never the best of the night.

2. Jake is the one I look forward to.

3. Alison may not be able to wear heels because of her weight but she could at least get up on the balls of her feet sometimes. No excuses for being so flat footed.

4. Loved Iveta's and Janette's dresses.

5. Whoever's in the dance off with Scott will get through.

Exactly my point -- good, but no fire, just like Harry Judd

There was alot of personality in those dances alot more then Harry Judd. And don't just single out Frankie because there are quite few celebs this series with less personality.

2. I thought I saw some of that much-needed and talked-about hip action in Pixie's Rhumba but what do I know. That said, I'm afraid I still wasn't moved by her performance - and to me, the display of tears afterwards felt manufactured. I don't think Pixie's devious or anything, but I do think she's desperate to have that emotional connection with the dance, her partner and the audience, and she's forcing it because it's not happening naturally.

3. Mark and Karen - nothing against them personally, but I forget their performances as soon as they're over. And maybe my memory's playing tricks on me but Quicksteps in years gone by seemed to fly across the dancefloor, yet they're looking a bit pedestrian / lacklustre these days (even though the music's still fast and the couples are keeping up. Maybe it's the 'lightness' and 'brightness' that's missing as opposed to actual speed or I'm just imagining it).

4. I missed the chat with Thom's brother, but are they twins? If not, what a striking resemblance!

5. Not one of Sunetra's better nights but she still managed to sparkle in my eyes.”

Agree ^^^^^^^^^.

1. Jake far and away the best performer, highlight of the shows for me.

2. Pixie's tears were so manufactured that I've decided it was choreographed into the routine and nobody realized it, hence Tess' and judges confusion.

3. Both quicksteps were disappointing, not sure why, the music maybe?

4. The top girls seem so insipid, I hope one of them can eventually come out and wow me.

5. I feel a bit sad for Scott (not enough to vote for him I might add). He seemed so despondent after the dance. I think he is trying really hard but never in a million years will he be able to do it. He is so unco-ordinated and cannot move to music at all. I hope he leaves tonight to spare him and us from further pain.

1. Much better show last night
2. Scott is ready to go, please let him be put out of his misery
3. Judy and Anton, what a routine
4. What is up with Brendan? He is really not into it this year
5. Actually warmed to Thom a bit last night

1. Pixie's dance was beautiful and one of the best Rumbas I've seen on Strictly.

2. Pixie and Frankie are comfortably the two best celeb dancers this year. Caroline's Quickstep and Jake's Jive only served to confirm that for me.

3. Claudia's comment about a Donnie 10 being worth half a normal ten was brilliant. Very funny!

4. Thom's improvement in the last two weeks has been most impressive, and not only in the technical sense but also in how he has been able to show much more in terms of personality. He no longer resembles the 'moving wardrobe'.

5. Anton threw Judy so hard at the start of their dance she almost landed in the audience. She really had to check herself to stop that from happening. It was most amusing.

Mark and Karen's QS music was terrible.

Caroline and Pasha had a decent song but the routine looked and felt like an obstacle course to me!

1. I thought Pixie did the dance of the night. So much emotion in there.

2. Steve is gorgeous. No, really, that smile, that cheery good nature. Plus, martial arts & enthusiasm. He really is the whole package.

3. Thom is improving and he's growing on me.

4. Frankie is still really good too.

5. Can we please stop the X-Factor style VT crowbarring in of Nans, kids, chiropodists, etc.

1. Really enjoyed the show, thank goodness Donny has gone
2. Thom most improved of all the celebs but strangely lacking in personality
3. Not sure about the music choices for some of the routines
4. Natalie looked absolutely beautiful
5. Too many couples scoring the same number of points

Result show extra thoughts:
1. I want Claudia's dress.
2. Steve looked good in slow motion on Len's Lens.
3. Tim is a darling and Natalie is wonderful.
4. Mark handled being in the b2 well - don't think he'll be there again for a while.

1 - Overall much slicker this week - Tess is finally settling down

2 - Frankie seemed a bit off this week - maybe she just didn't like the Cha Cha

3 - Pixie - it's too soon for tears

4 - Thom is really growing into this - he is very cute

5 - Caroline's Teddy Bear is a better dancer than Scott

1 So much good dancing! Both celebs who're already very good and ones improving rapidly.
2 Thank goodness we haven't had any hem incidents yet. I thought Darcey's *ahem* outfit might have caused a problem. She could barely move.
3 I know hardly any of the music (as ever) but I am not minding it too much this year.
4 Tess and Claudia. Thank YOU, BBC. Thank you. It was about time.
5 Lighting and props not too distracting either.

Very promising series so far!

I think 'tiger feet' by Mud is good choice for a fast dance like the QS...perhaps it would have been better for a jive though....I've always wanted to see it used on Strictly because it's such a fun song....but in this case I don't think the routine or the dancing did it much justice.....I think the producers missed a trick, they should have given it to Steve and Ola.

1. Tim was hillarious!
2. Darcey was cruel to Pixie.
3. Under marking for Pixie, Simon and Mark in my opinion (in total marks anyway)
4. Scott's American Smooth was terrible, the worst one I've ever seen, yes in my opinion, it was worse than Ann Widdecombes.
5. Caroline was the best of the night, and would have got a ten from me if the mistakes weren't there.

at number five but I agree with that!

1. Bubbly shows, guess a lot of laughter behind scenes, but NOT after Tim & Nat's departure; note how the others respected their farewell dance by not interrupting it immediately.
2. Choice of music is increasingly bizarre. Poor Dave Arch. Poor dancers!
3. TessDress, ClaudiaApparel and costumes generally OK this year - but either provide more solidly constructed trousers for Brendan or give him a codpiece.
4. Nothing wrong with Mark's quickstep and nothing (w)right (sorry!) about Scott's American Smooth: he really does dance better in a blackout.
5. They've filtered out the seagull screechers from the audiences this year - such a relief for viewers!!

1. This weeks show was an improvement on last weeks
2. I think Scott is getting worse rather than better.
3. Loved Anton flinging Judy across the floor and I think she is some what improving.
4. The VTs are just awful.
5. The music was a bit better and more suited to the dances this week.

1- Loving jake and Caroline
2-Pixie, stop the fake crying, you are a great dancer
3-Anton, next time you clean the floor with Judy make sure she lands in Scotland. Thank you Bruno.
4-Love frankie's ability and beautiful presence, don't like her pointing her feet inward all the time.
5-is Scott still in the show

Len is irritating the hell out of me.

I agree with all 4. BIB, yes Mark was gracious and no signs of "pity me". The guy has grown on me. He did not seek sympathy inspite of being asked twice if he was shocked to be in the bottom 2. I do wish this question could be left out, same as when the judges act po faced and then shocked about who is in the bottom 2. It is disrespectful to the other pair and to those saved. If they really wanted to make the mid table couples safer they would give out more varied scores and thus not create so many ties, which bunch the points up.

Mark effectively said that it didn't matter if you were any good as that's not what gets votes.

1. Sorry to see Tim go - will miss Natalie.
2. Pixie's tearless tears made me laugh
3. Jake and Caroline are very good but they leave me cold
4. Judy has a lovely smile.
5. Simon's performance was excellent but I can't help detecting a lack of sincerity.
