Nexus Media Importer

Anyone else use this? Using it on my Nexus 7.

I presume you can copy files from your tablet to your external hard drive? Can you create folders on your hard drive using your tablet and this app too?

My only worry is that surprisingly, the tablet powers my hard drive - can doing this cause any damage to either the tablet or drive?

Thanks

Should be fine if you unmount it before disconnecting.

Android being Linux is pure PC so anything plugged in works if you have the drivers.
That is why such as that cheap £7 Sumvision DVB-T stick works. (+ Root sometimes needed)
I;m not certain but I quite imagine that the Nexus supplies 5 watts max. Good enough for the newer low power SSDa and most portable hard drives.
