Even as an Alison fan, I can admit she's being completely overmarked

It might be a reason that some members of the public, or contributors to this forum, might use to justify their voting prejudices. However, it is not a factor in relation to what score the judges give her. That is more influenced by the fact that her footwork is terrible - as has now been commented on by all 4 judges and Karen Hardy in choreography corner.

True.

Stop having fun, just get it technically correct you mean?
Can you see the flaw in that?

It's been that for a very long time.

I agree, she's not going to win, but while Judy, Scott and maybe Steve remain in the show she isn't outlasting anybody better than her.

That does just sound like petty whining.

She's lovely

Gobby!
What do you find unbearable?
The description of bubbly is what is commonly said about fat women, not men

Do you like any fat women?”

Goodness, people are allowed to have different ideas from you, it is after all a discussion forum

I find Allison a lot more bearable than I thought I would from what I remembered of her on BB and when she said her Idol was Lisa

I am happy for her to stick around a while, however, her size has effected the physicality of her dancing and her foot work is awful.

If you were to split her in 2 the top half would be good , but the bottom half IS suffering from carrying the extra weight and it is not something that can be improved, I don't know how much she weighs but I would think she would need to loose at least 4 or 5 stone to physically be able to get lift and the energy translated to a lightness of her footwork. Even were she to stay to Xmas I can't see that sort of weight loss happening and so there is a limit to how good she will be able to be, because of her size.

That is not fattist, it is an honest appraisal of the problems of trying to dance when you are as large as Allison.

In a way it is like a dancer with only one leg, they will never be as good as a good dancer with 2 legs, however people can still enjoy their personality and dancing to the best of their ability .

Weirdly when you see ehr in training she looks a lot smaller. I think those dresses she is put in make her bigger looking. Her legs are actually not that fat but her middle is and her big boobs of course. Shes not a bad mover for a larger lady but she is not a great dancer either.

I think Frankie is a bit overated. She moves well generally but I think a lot of her moves are not sharp enough either and they seem to let her off on that.

I also thought Caroline was overmarked on her quick step. It was more of a sprawling around the dance floor than actually doing that many quick step moves but it seems every year, once the judges have decided who the actual contendors are, they are like a dog with a piece of meat and they don't let go and with the contendors and keep on giving them rave reviews no matter what.

You mean they put the best dancers at the top of their leaderboard - that is their job!

Based on the criteria that the judges will be looking at there really is no comparison between Frankie/Caroline/Jake/Pixie and Alison. I get that you really like Alison and, therefore, you have convinced yourself that she is being undermarked and everyone else is being overmarked as if it is all one big conspiracy theory but it just isn't true. The cha cha cha wasn't Frankie's best dance and I would agree with you that some of the moves were not as sharp as perhaps they could/should have been. However, that is reflected in her position on the leaderboard (joint 3rd this week rather than 1st last week). She was still a lot better than those below her on the leaderboard. Caroline 's routine had loads of quickstep moves - certainly a much wider variation in choreography than Mark Wright's. My immediate thought at the end of Caroline's routine was that she would go top of the leaderboard so it was no surprise to me when Len said it was the best of the night and that is exactly what happened.
