They're not alike at all but I used to get Karen and Janette mixed up especially if they had their hair loose. Not so much now.

I think there's a bit of a resemblance to Ola when she's blonde, but the main differences are face shape and eye colour.
I assume that Joanne was asked by the producers to change her hair to brown because they already had enough pros with blonde hair.

Ola (especially in the year she was with Chris) can look very much like Marilyn Monroe when she was in her young starlet period around 1950-1952. Especially with her hair up as she was in her foxtrot with Chris.
She does have sex appeal IMO....Joanne......no. Not much resemblance either. Joanne does make Karen H look totally restrained in dance faces though.

No- I totally get it- particularly when they're in full OTT eye make-up and hair scraped back. But then, lots of the women look alike under those conditions.
