With reading the new Adam Moira spoilers today i cant help but wonder where it is all going .....are we to listen to Moira's endless whinging about Adam for months on end before his release from prison ?

I can hardly bear to watch her onscreen anymore and Aaron mixing into it isnt helping .

I am starting to wish Moira would take a break from the show , take her gormless son with her and give Cain a break .

Am i alone ?

No your not alone, she could do with taking Aaron with her as well.

I wish Moira would leave permanantly. She's so miserable. I really don't know what a Cain sees in her. Especially with her terrible hair style! Lol

In terms of character development for Adam, this could be really interesting. Will he have to go through more when he returns from hospital to prison?

You're definitely not alone, I was disappointed after reading the spoilers. I can't stand Adam or Aaron, and Moira has become so boring. They've turned her into a whinging dullard who's life revolves around her awful son.

I noticed how much more interesting Cain was as well in the last week when he was involved with Charity and the rest of the Dingles.. His scenes with Moira and co in comparison are so dull.

It is tedious. I had hoped we'd have a proper break from Adam when he was finally locked up for one of his many crimes, but no such luck.

Moira was ruined the moment they paired her with Cain. They're dreadful together and should be split asp.

I still like Moira. I just wish she'd stop wiping Adam's arse.

I'm sure Aaron appreciates Adam having a clean arse

Adam can wipe his own dirty arse. And Aaron can do whatever he likes with it.

Poor Adam, though; his lovely face and hot body, all battered and bruised.

chitarivera will be cheering, though.

And yet I remain unmoved. That boy needs to learn to stand up for himself. Moira will be taking him in jam sandwiches and clean pants next.

Moira meanwhile needs to get on with tempting Cain. She's so good at it.

Don't worry Moira has her share of supporters.
Most characters go through periods where they get slagged off on here

L must say that the moira/ Adam story is the only part of Emmerdale I could do without. She does seem to have a magnetic attraction for grief of all sorts. She's always got a problem. I dunno what CAin sees in her tbh.Mind you, if she keeps her latest problem to herself Cain may push off.

The problem with Moira is she's spent pretty much this entire year in a permanent state of anxiety. First over the James secret, then over Adam's behaviour/his imprisonment and now over this blackmail malarkey. It's just been one thing after another. I could probably count the number of episodes where she's been happy and carefree this year on one hand. I know happy smiley people don't make for great drama but ED have gone too far the other way with Moira.

Cain will come riding to the rescue and the ladies will swoon - isn't that the only purpose he has nowadays?

Im not alone then .

I find their relationship odd , there is no other parents /kid in ED you could say even comes close ...

Yes the fathers and mothers look after and support their children when NEEDED but they dont constantly run after their kids on a daily basis .

Adam is 23 ? ......I mean we have hardly had any Chas /Aaron interaction since his return .....

The only other parent kid that come some way close is Zak and Sam .....

Adam is not remotely likeable , Moira could not be any duller if the writers tried .

Cain is just pure wasted up on the farm interacting with Moira and her brat and James ......he was ten times better this week being with his family .....his whole family and without Moira there ...we need a lot more of that .

I'm fed up with this Adam storyline as well. Easier said than done I know, but Moira needs to stop babying him, and Cain has to stop clearing up his messes just to keep Moira happy. He's in prison because he tried to murder someone - Moira should be glad that he only got charged with arson.

Scriptwriters, let's stop wasting decent characters like Moira and Cain on the irritating little pipsqueak. She's paid the woman, let's leave it at that

That's so true, here's hoping we see some happy moments very soon for her especially. there's always been something going on with her to be fair but it's one thing after another.

Originally there was fire and passion with Cain and Moira. That I think was the reason a lot of people rooted for them. They seemed so great as a couple. That's all gone now, and been replaced with Cain just sitting at the farms kitchen table, awaiting Moiras next tale of woe, that's if she even bothers telling him about Adam even though she promised no more secrets. Liked the Moira that was but not what her character has now been turned into, and so glad to catch a fleeting glimpse of the old Cain. He really needs to get out of there before she saps every last bit of life out of him.
