I was surprised at first, but then I realised it was a teen award. It's not like a lot of teens would take acting talent into consideration when voting. I'm not saying Lorna has none, but she's far from being the best actress. Most of the year she's been giggling and snorting. I suppose there has been some improvement lately. Well except for the awful tramp storyline where she killed him.

She's like a young Meryl Streep.

I suppose a lot of teens might be able to relate to her.

![]() Err no. She's actually got worse. I think she misses interacting with Jo. She definitely got worse once Jo left I think.

I would love to know who she was up against. Jamie Borthwick is 20 so it won't have been him.
Mimi Keene should have won, surely. Not a fan of Cindy but Mimi really has talent. |

Well deserved! Lorna's a great actress and she's made Abi Branning my favourite character on the show
![]() I guess that's not much of a compliment considering the current state of the cast, but it should still be taken as a genuine compliment. Abi's always been a favourite of mine and the older she gets, the better she becomes. Let's hope it continues

Is this a joke? I wouldn't have thought she'd win even if she was the only one nominated.

From the teen awards website: Quote:
Nominations include Lorna Fitzgerald (Eastenders), Yasmin Paige (Pramface), John Boyega (Half of a Yellow Sun), Jack O’Connell (300: Rise of an Empire) and Will Poulter (Plastic)
Not sure who the rest of them are but Jack O'Connell is at least a good 5 leagues above Lorna in the acting stakes. It's worth bearing in mind that a previous winner of the award is Rupert Grint, star of 8 Harry Potter films, I really don't think it should be taken too seriously

I hate awards where the winner is completely implausible . Lorna's average at best and Jack O Connell is leagues ahead.

A well deserved award and it is hilarious to see the clueless people here moan about her being a bad actress.
