ok this week started off with the carters still clueless about what was going on with linda. having had enough and didnt know what to do after linda ruined nancy's birthday mick made a desperate call to elaine. when she arrived she definatly noticed something was wrong with linda. trying to find out what linda wasnt saying anything. a big clue for elaine came when dean entered the queen vic and linda ran back upstairs. noticing this elaine followed dean into the mens room and told him to lay off linda. back upstairs elaine said she knows linda had an affair with dean which was untrue as the viewers know. elaine revealed she also had an affair many years ago. elaine left shortly afterwards after thinking she solved the problem but its just getting started.

elsewhere the stalker following lauren around turned out to be ds bryant. emma's ex who laid a punch on max after catching him and emma. emma went back with ds bryant but returned to max later on. abi didnt seem too pleased but lauren was more simpathetic to her father. well for abi she has seen it all before hasnt she. lauren then went out to get dinner but the shadow figure started following her and she ran to peter asking for help. peter did get the reg of the car and when they told emma she was later seen on the phone and knowing the car in question.

elsewhere charlie and ronnie are getting on quite nicely.

Linda's Mum can't reveal what has happened because she doesn't know. Yes she has warned Dean off but that is just because she thinks that there has been a flirtation (or more) despite Linda's denials and wants to protect her and Mick's 'marriage'. She has no idea that Linda has been raped.

Linda, after her mum's pep talk will probably make more of an effort to plaster on her make up and be downstairs behind the var but it won't deal with the actual problem. In fact it will make it worse.

I don't know what is going on with Malachy and Summerhayes and the stalking od Lauren and Poeter but it is interesting enough.

I like Charlie and Ronnie's dynamic - ditto Aleks and Roxy. I also love Ronnie and Roxy's spark - one of the most convincing sibling relationships in Soap.

I think Linda's mum just thinks that Dean has been pestering or harassing her, but she doesn't actually "know" that Linda has been raped.

One of the frustrating things about this sort of situation is that the characters in EastEnders never seem to read the spoilers on the internet before anything happens, and they don't even bother to read the scripts. Things would be much easier if they did.
