I think it would be a good way to start the week with the theme EastEnders started out with, then having a special nighttime opening sequence for the live which will obviously take place in the night and ending the week with the current theme.

Some sort of live opening titles 'Thames style' at night would be awesome.

I'd like something Hollyoaks style for live week.

They need to do a new BBC 1 ident like they did in the 25th year. Most of the characters on the old one have left!

I like the theme idea and shoulkd definately use the original one again.

Hiw many cariants of the Theme tune has there been.

They could show a different one on every ep that week, and bring back the slides to open thevshow.

Each episode is confirmed to open with Shirley singing the theme tune in a different musical style, starting with neo-gothic all the way to Swedish rap-house
