It was possible to predict the first three eliminations but from now on? Judy and Scott could and probably should have gone by now but have avoided the dance-off every week. On the other hand based on ability two dancers should never have appeared in the bottom two. Unless you had access to the voting then the next elimination is very difficult to predict.

I think Scott's time is up. If not, the person who will be eliminated will be the one who shows a backwards progression at this stage. That could be Judy who perhaps gave her best last week.

It'll only take another poor performance by Simon to find himself in the bottom 2 again.
He was great this week, the Charleston really suited his personality and he certainly played the part of the "cheeky chappy" well.

I think candidates for bottom 2 in the next few weeks will be Simon, Scott, Judy Mark and Alison. Whoever is up against Scott in the dance off will live to see another week, that's for sure.

I'm half expecting carnage on the dance floor over the next two weeks as the gruesome twosome don't even get a whiff of the bottom two and leave it to the likes of Steve, Mark, Simon, Thom and Alison to fight for survival.

It's going to be so messy

I think poor Scott has outstayed his welcome but I fear it won't be him. I think it might be Alison or maybe Judy.

If we are eliminating the poorest dancers then it has to be:

Scott, Judy and Alison

It has to be Scott next doesn't it? Whether he will remains to be seen but he is the weakest remaining. Judi isn't much better but there was a glimmer of improvement I thought.

I don't think Simon will let himself down again like he did in the rumba. I think he had his head in the wrong place for the first few weeks and I am very much hoping he is approaching the task with a different mind set now.

Mark I am not so sure about. It is hard to see how he came to be in the bottom two at all this week. His dance was OK so I guess its either the old middle of the board problem or he isn't capturing the public heart. If the latter he could be in trouble I guess.

The series started with around 5 cases of "natural sheddage".

The 3 celebrities eliminated so far have been from that set of 5, though we could debate whether the order of elimination was totally correct.

Now we're down to that last 2 of the set, I think we are approaching the point where two mid-table couples will end up in the dance-off and we'll lose someone that deserved to stay longer. It's happened before and I think it may well happen now.

The "duck" factor (voting for weaker dancers to keep them around for laugh value) could mean that Scott and Judy will be preserved while a much better dancer will go.

Really it should be between Judy and Scott

However I'd probably throw Sunetra, Simon, Mark, Steve and Alison in there too as mid-tablers

We are due a 'shock exit' soon, mind by now anyone but Scott would be a shock. But I reckon Simon will be that shock.

it should be either Scott or Judy but as neither have ended up in the bottom 2 in the last 4 weeks I cant see them in the bottom 2 this week either

Mark and Simon could both end up their again, depending on what dance they both have next just as they have both been there before

Anyone mid-table and below are vunerable - I would say only Jake, Caroline, Pixie and Frankie are safe............. (famous last words )

I'd be surprised to see Thom anywhere near the bottom two. I expect he's polling the 2nd or 3rd highest number of votes.

I really can't fathom Judy's appeal but, as much as I am hoping she will go next, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see her last another week or two.

Ideally I'd like Judy out next, giving Scott a last comedy turn for Halloween before going, and then we have a real competition on our hands... however I fully expect that someone half decent will go before either of them. I don't think it will be Alison though, my gut feeling is that she is getting a lot of votes and will probably be in it for the long haul.

I think/hope Mark will have come across well enough last night to keep him safe for at least next week, and ideally longer - Simon may well be back in the bottom 2 if he is even slightly below par on Saturday. Sunetra and Steve might also be vulnerable but Sunetra seems to be getting more votes than I thought so far.

I can see Judy out next week - just as Andy and Jamie come.

I'll probably end up doing some calculations so I can get close

I would be prepared for at least one more mid-field contestant to be eliminated before either Judy or Scott are in the dance-off.

Do you think so? I wonder. Initially I was very taken with him, he is very, very easy on the eye. But three weeks in and after three sets of VT and appearances on ITT I have lost interest, I find him a rather empty vessel. Its like a beautifully wrapped parcel. It looks enticing but once the pretty wrapping is off the illusion is gone and you are left with an empty box.

We'll know a lot more when we know what dances Simon, Steve and Mark have this time. And there are still enough couples for it to matter if you're on early in the running order. I'd guess Sunetra will be safe with a VW (could be a great dance for her), Thom will be safe and Judy and Scott will promise great things for Halloween week, so people will keep them in, so I think it will be between those three men. Don't know if it will be between two of them, or if Pixie or Caroline will drop into the b2 and be saved. (Samba and paso could be great for them, but potentially might not be their best.)

I think Jake needs to get his rumba out of the way soon while there is plenty of competition. I think it might be his nadir. I have no doubt he will be able to play the role of romantic hero convincingly but I am not sure he will be able to produce the fluidity and lyricism to get all the technique right. Having said that Janette may have a trick up her sleeve to help him move seamlessly from shape to shape or a routine that disguises any flaws in the transitions.

I'm going in the other direction with Thom. Initially found him almost doll-like - pretty but vacant-looking. But he's become a little more animated, his performances have a bit more life and personality now. I think he'll have won a few people over with his Foxtrot and clawed back a few who'd started to lose interest after initially having high hopes. I wouldn't go so far as to vote for him (and I didn't really fancy him even before discovering he was short on charisma) but I reckon lots are.

To be honest, I'm probably not the only one that's waiting for the wrapping to actually come off Until that has finally happened, he's probably safe...

My preference for the next 3 eliminations would be 1) Scott 2) Alison 3) Judy.

But as all 3 have avoided the dance off they are clearly getting plenty of votes, so I think it may be a "shock" exit for someone this week - between Simon & Mark perhaps?

I still have a hard time to predict this time
It should be Scott and Judy....but I think that they may survive another week... especially Scott.

I honestly think that Allison will be there very soon, especially if she has a ballroom next week....If THAMMMMMMMMM continues to improve like he is, I dont think we will see him there anytime soon ; A lot of people are really starting to warm up to him..

Quite frankly, I think that either Pixie, Frankie and Caroline will be in the B2 in the Quarters or Semi; especially Caroline and Pixie.... I really dont think they have that much public support.

So right now, Im going to say Allison and either Mark, Simon or Sunetra.; I will probably change my predictions before the end of the week

Ah now you see I did. I fell for the pretty face straight away but curiously each time he has been interviewed he gets less and less handsome. Maybe he has a portrait in his attic that is becoming steadily more gorgeous.
