Why did Jean and Ollie or even Charlie not offer Alfie Stacey and Mo a place to stay after the fire?

Considering they are Loyal to one another, I think it was quite lovely how neither even bothered to even ring up to see how they were doing (i dont atchually remember a mentuion of them ringing so i am sorry if i am wrong)

Well it would mean leaving the Square and that would never do. I am surprised weepy old Charlie hasn't been to visit, blubbing as he always does and apologising for being alive!

They live away from the square and in terms of the show wouldn't logistically work.

They should try and bring Jean, Charlie and Sean back, it would be nice to see Kat and Stacey actually have some family other than Mo, it would really do them good as characters I think, Lacey Turner worked brilliantly with Gillian Wright, and that's what I think we're missing!

Well they wouldn't want to go live in Brighton when Kat's in hospital, also the last time we saw Jean she wasn't really in the right state of mind to invite seven people (including 2 babies) to stay in what I'm guessing is a rather small home. I don't know where Charlie lives now, but I assuming it wouldn't be big enough for all of them even if it is still close to the hospital. Also, they probably have phoned off screen.

Because Kat is in hospital so can can't stay with them and alfie, stacey and no want to be local or her and the kids. Why can't they just have a guest role for the SL?

Maybe they've rang her off screen?

I'm surprised Mo hasn't been mentioned as going to stay with Charlie to be honest, just to add some realism. Alfie's barely been on screen lately so it's not like they needed to keep Mo as staying in the Masood's house to explain who was looking after the kids.

Would you go miles away if one of you relatives had to go into hospital because your home caught fire just to stay with another relative? I think it is realistic for no to stay at the masoods as it makes more sense than completely abandoning Kat

Charlie doesn't live miles away, Mo could still pop over from Charlie's. It's weird that she's supposed be at the Masood's yet hasn't been on screen to sense that something isn't right with Stacey and Alfie.
