WOW, the chemistry and acting in this scene!

It really shows off Sam Womack's talent, and what a great character Archie was! I wonder if we'll ever see anything as good as this under DTC? Maybe Ronnie and Nick's rivalry? What's everyone's theory on that anyway?

I remember this scene. Archie was such a prick.

He was, but we still loved him! His era was amazing! So many storylines, that was how you commission a whodunnit!

I loved to hate him. But yes EE was great then (not saying it isn't now). I was a big fan of Ronnie back then. And you're right about Sam Womack and Larry Lamb's chemistry. They were both sooo good during that storyline. I was looking forward to Archie getting his comeuppance, the bastard.

Haha, and yes it has improved a lot, but it's not quite touching that era yet!

I loved Archie. He was probably the last great villain that EE had. I think it's a shame they turned him into a rapist and paedophile, but at least they didn't make him Danielle's father .

A high point in otherwise tedious and woeful 2008.

It's a shame they killed him off in a pretty crappy final story that revolved around making him a rapist at the 11th hour.

2008 was actually really good? The start of the year with The Stax fallout and Tanya burying Max alive! Archies arrival and really getting to know the Mitchell sisters, Danielle's arrival and her secret, Ricky, Bianca, Janine return and Franks funeral, Peadophile Tony storyline, Nasty Nicks return, stuff to do with the Beale's and Steven, Mad May's revenge (which resulted in her death, and the exision), Jase's death, which was a very well done episode! Sean's exit climax, and all the Mitchell drama towards the end of the year, 2008 was brilliant!

Franks funeral and Tony and Whitney stuff the only good parts.
Tanya burying Max was woeful, Danielle was boring, Nasty Nick was silly, Bianca was sort of destroyed. Not to mention the tedious consistent Max/Tanya/Jack/Ronnie/Roxy/Sean love Heptagon was dreadful.

The Ronnie of today would have landed that hit on Archie and given him the Carl treatment.

I hated Who Killed Archie? from start to end. It was a very badly done whodunnit.

Get the paradox?

Ronnie gained her strength from Archie's return, the same strength she could have used against him if she had the strength she gained from Archie's return.

very much agree on that, especially the paedophile part.....wasn't needed at all..it was all to do with mind control not sexual...
