She may regret it but since she moves into the flatshare I doubt it will be a one off, they will probably be together until Linda tells Stacey that he raped her.

I wonder if Dean won't take Stacey's rejection well, which causes him to try to rape Linda again. This time, someone fortunately stops him, finds out what he did to Linda, and all hell breaks loose.

Man, I hope so. I just want Mick, Elaine, Nancy, SOMEONE to find out and help Linda.

DTC shoehorning his love child into the rape storyline. The only way Deano can redeem himself now is to kill Stacey.

Before the Linda storyline, I wanted Stacey and Dean to be a couple, but now I don't really know what to think apart from going back in time and not making Dean become a rapist!

I don't think Dean will harm Stacey. There were no indications in the interviews that he would become a serial rapist. In Linda's case he was obsessed/infatuated with her and jealous of Mick and instead of dealing with those feelings he allowed them to build up until he ended up harming her. He didn't do anything when Lauren broke up with him (though I realise that was before he raped Linda) and it's interesting that Dean seems genuinely shocked that Tosh hit Tina when he did something far worse himself but of course he thinks it was a one night stand.

Stacey will play a main role in all this coming out. Cast your minds back to when Dean took Lauren off to have sex one afternoon. When she returned the rest of the Branning's were having lunch. Lauren looked stunned and almost like she had been dragged through a hedge backwards. So the sex must have been pretty rough. It might have seemed like a random scene given Dot's comment about Lauren having a 'lovely glow' but I'm also betting that plays a part later on as well with Lauren confessing how rough Dean was with her.

I'd forgotten that. That's interesting because that was before Dean attacked Linda. Maybe this is why Stacey has second thoughts and regrets the one night stand - Dean was too rough with her. I do remember though that apart from being a bit sulky, Den wasn't violent with Lauren when she dumped him and left her alone afterwards.

But he didn't leave Linda alone......

And one of the first times he found himself really 'turned on' by Linda was when she slapped him after the 'kiss'.....remember his horrible leer outside the pub? I never quite understood that at the time. But if 'rough sex' turns him on, it would be likely he'd be rough with Stacey.

And then he won't like it when she 'dumps' him after one night......especially as he's her boss at work

Oh dear.....Linda and Stacey need to support each other .....maybe Stacey tells Linda and that enables Linda to confide in her....

I remember him smiling after Linda slapped him but I thought that was because he managed to get a reaction out of her but you may have a point about the rough sex especially if he was rough with Lauren and will be rough with Stacey. Sadly neither Lauren nor Stacey can themselves accuse Dean of rape as they slept with him of their own free will.

After the kiss and the slap, Dean did back off for a short while. That's why he apologised for the kiss and then began a casual relationship with Lauren in the first place. The roses Linda assumed were from Dean were really a peace offering from Mick. Unfortunately Mick didn't know about Dean's infatuation/obsession with Linda - he would never have left him alone with Linda had he known.

Yes, it is unfortunate that in this case Stacey slept with her boss but to be fair to her, it's not like Dean is a stranger - she's known him for years. She should perhaps have a word with Lauren and Mick if she's really concerned about Dean being rough in bed - that's what I would do in her shoes.

How would killing Stacey redeem himself ? (although I wouldn't argue if that's what DTC wanted to do).

Putting rape victim Stacey with Deano is boring as far as I am concerned. Who will he eventually confess all to? Hmmmm I wonder.....

I do like the irony of a rape victim becoming romantically involved with a rapist and I think Stacey is due to play a big part in the reveal. Though what Dean did to Linda was horrific I have a feeling that he's not like other rapists and that he's messed up rather than evil. I am hoping that what happened with Linda will not happen with anyone else.

DTC said that Stacey will have a big storyline next year - could it be linked to Dean?

When are we going to find out what Stacey's key is for? why does everything have to be dragged out!?
