Halloween is traditionally All Hallows' (Saints') Eve - which itself is the day before All Souls' Day - the day of (remembering) the dead.
So really no day more relevant.
Except in Strictly Halloween is a pantomime festival and a bit of fun and in Britain it is now de-linked from All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day in the minds of most of the audience.
