Brompton Cemetery

I've mentioned this on another thread, but I thought I'd start a new one to flag it up. I've just come across footage on YouTube of Doctor Who being filmed at London's marvellous Brompton Cemetery in July. The place is stunning and well worth a visit. Given the nature of Missy's arc, the setting seems more than appropriate. But even more intriguingly, one of the legends of the cemetery is that one of the tombs is actually an Egyptian time machine. This could be a hoot...

I was thinking that too, but seeing as we already have Cybermen, UNIT, Missy etc I rather think that adding Angels to the mix would be overdoing it somewhat...

This one's actually in Kensal Green Cemetery, but it certainly looks the part!

I run around Brompton Cemetery!! (It sounds strange but it's a great place to run) - hmm, I expect they would have filmed this at the weekend (when I wouldn't have been there as it's near where I work). Can't wait to see it on TV!!

Not strange at all. I love the place. It's one of my favourite open spaces in London. And I love the way people use it to walk the dogs, play with their kids, and run. For a place full of dead people, it's very alive!

Nice to see Brompton Cemetery provides the backdrop to the poster for the ep. Incidentally, did you know it has been used in countless movies (Johnny English, Sherlock Holmes, GoldenEye) and TV shows before?
