Do we think the Carter Clan will take Centre Stage for the Christmas Episodes??? I think it's going to be a great mystery, but this clan have so many secrets I think it will be them centre stage this year:

1. Dean and Linda
2. Shirley being Mick's Mum
3. Stan and Aunt Babe's secrets

I think it's going to be pretty explosive, but knowing DTC he will have other characters and families involved! cant wait!!

Well whoever has Christmas in the Vic usually has a really miserable time so I guess there is no happy Christmas for the Carters this year (or in fact any year from now on).

I sure hope that Linda doesn't take until Christmas to tell Mick about Dean!

Yeah the Carters were the first happy family. But they've been happy for too long now. Walford makes people miserable.

Itt seems it's now a criminal offence for them not to be in every episode.

They live in the Vic and there's a lot of them so they're going to appear often.

No different to the Mitchell's and the Watts' when they had the place.

They are all brilliant actors. DTC probably paid them extra so they could appear more often.

I think a different set of characters will get the new year stories. They learned from 2008 that you can't focus on one family throughout the festive period.

As long as Cora sings Santa Baby to Stan I'll be happy.

My point exactly.... Shirley, Linda, Mick, Stan, Babe, Elaine and maybe Johnny are the only decent ones, but it would be nice for them not to constantly appear, or just have a few scenes where they're serving behind the bar!

I really hope not. I liked them at first but now I'm getting tired of them now and don't like Lee, Nancy or Babe (still love Tina though!)

And that's why there will never be another Pat Butcher and they shouldn't ever try to replace her.

It'll be great having a Carter Christmas, but after that they need to take a back seat. I don't want to see them ruined by overexposure. It's not as if the square isn't chock a block with talent.

Of course they will take centre stage over Christmas. They've dominated the rest of the year so why would Christmas be an exception.
