EE: Best Year in terms of newcomers?
Which EastEnders year was the best in terms of characters introduced?
I definitely feel 2006 was a strong point. Many characters of 2006 are still here today, and we were gifted the wonders of the Branning family, the Fox family and the Wicks family, as well as those hidden gems like Mad May, Scary Stella, Jay Brown and Sean Slater. Compared to that, 2014 was very bland and too full of guest stints and what-not!

2011: the Moon brothers, Eddie Moon, Derek Branning, Shenice, the list goes on.
Truly epic. |

Who can forget Shenice? I hope she returns for the 30th.

Of course she will come back for the 30th, if she doesn't, the show has left any tatters of reputation it still had in the gutter.
