Can't find phone location in laptop
Plugging my Moto G mobile into my laptop (Compaq CQ58) via USB to transfer photos / videos, the laptop appears to recognise the phone, making a beeping sound, and the phone says it's connected to a media device. However, I can't find the location of the phone in the laptop. In my PC it comes up as listed in My Computer under the hard drive etc, but in the laptop nothing shows up.
Any idea how I can locate the wretched thing, or how I might otherwise transfer my photos from phone to laptop? |

Are you using Windows 7?
What USB mode is the phone set to? |

Make sure you've entered the passcode on your phone, this can prevent the computer accessing it.. just a thought

What USB mode is the phone set to? Yes, Windows 7. USB mode, I really don't know. |

Any ideas? I figured I was missing something obvious, but maybe not.
Can I search for it somehow once I plug it into the laptop? |
