Transfer call time or data from one line to another

In some countries viz India, mobile operators allow transfer of call time or data time from one mobile phone line to another. This can be a gift from one person to another. Families use it a lot where parents, who dont use their allowances as much as their children pass on the unused portions to them before the month ends.

Can this be done in the UK. Any providers allow this? Have you heard of this?

Hokey Cokey from Gifffaff is the closest I'm aware of.

It's possible to give someone your minutes by calling the Gifffaff number.....convuluted, but works....I do it for a family member every now and then.

There's nothing I know of like that in the UK, although I can see that being quite popular in India.

Nobody does it in the UK.
