Taken me nearly two years to like this phone! When it tries to update apps, it now says "insufficient space to update this app"
I've tried deleting or uninstalling apps I don't use any more, which worked for a while, but now its back to the same old same old.

Seems device memory is nearly full out of 1.97gb available, only 223mb is left, however there's loads of space left on internal storage. Out of 10.85gb, there's 8.99 still available

Can I transfer stuff from device memory to internal storage?
There's no SD memory card installed...will that make a difference?

Any ideas/suggestions welcome

Regards
Phil

I'm guessing it's an Android phone as not too familuar with the Sony range?

I use an app called Clean Master that's free off the Play store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...nmaster.mguard

Give that a go and see how it goes.

Mark.

Thanks Mark,

It works!

Sony's own advice was long winded & tedious, and made no sense, however, downloaded this app you recommended and it moved some apps from device memory to SD card memory, cleaned out junk files & now it all works as it should
