I have a broad Black Country accent and the voice control works perfectly with it.

Sorry, about to head to bed so can't read through the thread yet but have a few questions and would really appreciate it if someone could help me out.

Can you definitely use Unblock-Us on this device to get all the different regions of Netflix because I have been told you can't.

Can you access XBMC on this device?

If yes to both, I will be ordering tomorrow. Cheers.

Yep! ... I watch hulu / crackle (using unotelly) on mine so don't see why unblockus shouldn't work! 👍

The voice commands work better then my X360 / X1 kinect ever did! .... Had to constantly repeat myself & even then 90% of the time it still wouldn't work!

(Hope Amazon sell em by the truckload cause it's an absolutely magnificent bit of kit!)

Yeap, they all work, but of course, some support more services than others. I think Hulu and Netflix is well serviced by all, but many of the UK apps are a bit patchy with some DNS providers - not so much a problem if you live in the UK, but certainly if you are using this abroad.

Some DNS providers also support all three Amazon Prime Instant Video libraries (although you need a separate account for each one), but not all, which is something to take into account.

DNS addresses can be installed directly into the device (so no router installation required) but you need to re-configure the network settings from scratch.

Appreciate the replies. Will be ordering one in a bit. I'll be back in no doubt when I struggle to set something up on it

You'd have tuned into Coronation St if you'd done similar on the xbox!

Just re-configure your network settings, so if you are using WiFi, reset this and then don't use the automated settings. At some point in the configuration you will be able to enter the DNS servers.

Just been on the unblock site and they say they haven't finished testing it on this device yet so offer no proper instructions.

^^Was going to PM you, today. It does seem overly complicated to change the DNS compared to Apple TV and the PS3/4

No worries. I still have a little problem in that Unblock will only work when I am going wireless. When I plug the cable into the device it will only let me watch UK Netflix.

I'm with Sky, can't access the DNS settings on the router. Has to be through the device.

Did you set up the IP address correctly. I'm on Sky too. and using ethernet, it does take some fiddling. I set it up using WIFI then re-attached the cable.

Once I attach the cable it won't let me access any other region apart from UK. For some reason there are two IP address with and without the cable I'm clueless with this stuff.

your computer will tell you 2 IP address's, on the iMac it was the 2nd one, the first was for the actual computer if I remember, it did take some trial and error.

Have you had any problems accessing some regions of Netflix? I can't get on France, Germany and a few others.

Germany always plays up with me, France and the others not a problem.
