With just over a full week to go, are there any more bets for the first elimination? These prices will change drastically after the first show. New book will be formed, but existing prices laid will be paid (if you win!). Last chance for an early price......

Johnny, I saw what you said about the time factor and if it would help you, I would be prepared to help. As I have now retired, I sit here with bugger all else to do.
As you usually post the winning bets anyway each week, I could do a spreadsheet and keep running totals each week and then post the 'leading contenders' each week. Let me know if this would be acceptable.

Yes, Yes & yes again! This would be a great help. At the end of each event I will post all bets placed (win or lose) and you would be more than welcome to help with the totals by doing a spreadsheet. I will be starting a thread very soon called "The Virtual Bookies Trophy". This thread will track the profit/loss of each virtual punter (INCLUDING the Bookie!) and will be shown as a league table with the leader at the top.
I will start this thread initially after the first elimination event has been settled, but as more events and bets are placed, it would be really good if you could keep the stats. & post them in the started thread. That will give me time to do a book on said trophy event!
This year I intend to do more Strictly related books than ever, so your help with the Virtual Trophy stats. is greatly appreciated.

I can see that. I do hope you have all your spreadsheets at the ready, cos I have a funny feeling that the bookies office is gonna get rather busy very soon! Once I have settled all the bets on the first event, I will draw up & post the first league table in the other thread. Then it is over to you!
I will then concentrate on the betting on all the other different events (winner, Spoiler Time Guess etc.)
