BT stop offering BT Flim and Box set Bolt on to new customers.
I been reading over on BT forums that I also use from time to time that |BT has stopped offering BT Film and Box sets to new customers and from sometime in November may stop the service.
https://community.bt.com/t5/YouView-...n/td-p/1395615 If they think they will replace it with Netflix then that's good if you don't already use Netflix but for the likes of me that already use Netflix this this is nothing extra. Darren |

Is there much difference between BT Film / TV and Netflix anyway?
I think there are far too many options available, and most are pretty similar. Makes sense to me to have a major player in the field on board. I have read that BBC Connected Red button is coming soon. Just need to add Spotify and YouTube now. |

New iPlayer and Connected Red Button has already begun rolling out to Humax YouView boxes and BT YV boxes, according to a press release. TalkTalk YV customers will get the services shortly after.

Great news. Presumably existing Netflix subscribers will still be able to access the service via YV without having to set up a second, BT bill-linked account.

I do use the BT film and box set bolt on at times for some TV shows that BT have don't seem to be on Netflix as yet. The new look beta trial of the new BBC connected red button service on Youview so far looks good. Darren |

The "announcement" from BT.com (well, hidden in a paragraph in a many-paged report).
It can be seen under the heading BT Consumer a fair way down the page. http://www.btplc.com/News/Articles/S...6-38AB84548094 |

Although its good that Netflix is coming to BT I can already use Netflix via my Samsung smart TV. Also as I have said elsewhere some shows that I watch like Blue Bloods are not on Netflix but are on the BT flim and TV box sets. So I do hope BT will think about keeping there BT film & TV box set bolt on and not just replaying it was with Netflix. For there will be a few otheres like me that may already use Netflix.
