I think Joanne rubs me up the wrong way, which is a really bad reason. It has nothing to do with Scott though, I just don't warm to her at all.

I agree. Having two people against one time would work fine. Its all fun so I cant imagine anyone not agreeing to it.

I don't hate Joanne, I just haven't warmed to her yet, & although Scott doesn't have much to work with, I would have thought she could at least have got him to do the dances in their very basic forms - omitting all the fancy stuff at first - to a reasonable level of competence. Just my opinion anyways!

It is her first season. New pros seem to get a rough deal in their first year. Natalie was absolutely hated in her first year (not by me I hasten to add) but now seems to be a forum favourite.

It is difficult to judge Joanne at this stage. Scott is so bad that she has nothing to work with. It would be easier to form an opinion when we have seen her work with someone a bit more capable.

I agree Abigailsmum I think it's better to let people share times. I don't see why we did not do it before.

I did notice earlier that when a couple were going up to Claud 9, they showed Joanne side on - she was clapping (although not putting much effort into it) & her face looked quite pinched - mind you, if I was watching almost every other couple putting in a half decent dance, I'd have a pinched, peed off face too given who I was dancing with!!!

think it would be easier to warm to her if Scott was a little better - I could not cope i I had to try and get a peformance out of him week in week out and I have taught some duffers in my time but he just seems to not have one dance gene in him

I don't buy this. The only difference between Judy and Scott was 1 point from Craig. Otherwise, they were both scored the same. What really needs to happen is for Darcey, Len and Bruno to remember that they do have paddles below 5 and use them so that the scores are more spread to give a true reflection of performance rather than all the bunching on the leaderboard and the ties that inevitably result from that.

I agree with what you say but they can manipulate who goes top as well

The relationship between the pro and the celeb is one of the best features of the show so, like most things that they do on DWTS, I would rather this idea stayed in the US.

However, I think they should give more thought to how they pair up the celebs with the pros. From the start it struck me as odd that they put Thom with Iveta and Tim with Natalie given that, based on height, Natalie/Thom and Tim/Iveta would have been more natural.
