Me too. Scott is appallingly rude, because he pulls shocked and angry faces when criticised and he seems utterly clueless about how bad he is. i don't like his attitude one bit. No way should Thom have gone before Scott.

That's exactly how I feel about Alijaz too.
I liked his partnership with Abbey, but didn't find him particularly attractive, but now he's definitely worth watching (which I guess is why I don't mind too much watching Alison).

Gutted Thom has gone he was one of my favourites and Simon didnt deserve to be in the bottom 2

Scott should definitely go. Bad from week 1 and not improved at all and doesn't seem to understand that he isn't good. At least Judy realises she's a bad dancer but comes across so much better than Scott. Neither of last night's bottom 2 should be there and I don't like it when a good dancer goes leaving really bad ones in.

Nice to see one of Judy's sons there last night

Scott's plea that he wanted to get to Halloween will, I suspect, be his final week. It always balances out in the start of November.

I feel sorry for Simon, felt the judges were unduly hard on him and I wonder if something happened backstage to warrant that. Thom's performance was bland and forgettable, but it's a shame when he has shown real imorovement in recent weeks.

I didn't like Thom in the beginning, he came across as quite arrogant before setting setting a foot on the floor. But I think he had a wake-up call and discovered it was going to be a lot harder than he had thought. I had warmed to him in recent weeks when he became a bit more humble, and he certainly didn't deserve to go.
I've never understood the love for Iveta though, despite being a (fairly) red-bloodied male, she's probably my least favourite female professional.

Just read the spoiler...disgusted at who ended up in the bottom two...and more disgusted that Scott is still there. I'm sorry but it's rare I agree with CRH but I think some people just can't learn to dance...whatever about Judy Moo...Alison at least has a teeny bit of rhythm. Wrong result..
but it might make the voting public sit up and listen....

Scott is still in the competition..JEEZ.....Why on earth do people voting for him ???

So, now that Thom is out, what do you all think the finishing order will be now? Last week I predicted:

Spoiler
1. Jake & Janette
2. Caroline & Pasha
=. Frankie & Kevin
4. Pixie & Trent
5. Thom & Iveta (DO - Pixie & Trent) [Oh dear!! ]
6. Sunetra & Brendan (DO - Caroline & Pasha)
7. Mark & Karen (DO - Sunetra & Brendan)
8. Judy & Anton (DO - Mark & Karen)
9. Steve & Ola (DO - Sunetra & Brendan)
10. Alison & Aljaz (DO - Steve & Ola)
11. Simon & Kristina (DO - Pixie & Trent) [Shock Halloween exit]
12. Scott & Joanne (DO - Steve & Ola)
13. Tim & Natalie (DO - Mark & Karen)
14. Jennifer & Tristan (DO - Simon & Kristina)
15. Gregg & Aliona (DO - Jennifer & Tristan)

But now I think I'll go for:

1. Jake & Janette
2. Caroline & Pasha
=. Frankie & Kevin
4. Pixie & Trent
5. Mark & Karen (DO - Pixie & Trent)
6. Sunetra & Brendan (DO - Caroline & Pasha)
7. Simon & Kristina (DO - Mark & Karen)
8. Judy & Anton (DO - Sunetra & Brendan)
9. Alison & Aljaz (DO - Simon & Kristina)
10. Scott & Joanne (DO - Alison & Aljaz)
11. Steve & Ola (DO - Pixie & Trent) [Shock]

12. Thom & Iveta (DO - Simon & Kristina)

Completely agree with you! Hopefully the viewers next week will start to see sense!

Public votes aside. The judges have the final say. I find it difficult to understand why the judges would vote Thom out rather than Scott?

Thank you for the spoiler.

It's a shame Thom has gone over Simon, as I preferred watching Thom's dances.

The judges saved Simon over Thom. Scott wasn't in the bottom two

Ops, my mistake. Simon and Thom in the final two?? Then this show needs a serious re-think. Scott is an abysmal dancer. Not sure I can stomach much more of the cheesy programme anyway. Bring on 'The Voice'

Im absolutely gutted he was just coming out of his shell and I thought he was going to be the most improved for sure given a chance but alas it wasn't meant to be. It really should have been Alisons week to go or Scotts

The judging needs a makeover. Perhaps if the public were to vote for the lowest 6 competitors. I barely could watch the show last night, doubt I will tune in again.

I'm disappointed with this result and don't see Thom as being bland with no personality, I think he was gaining in confidence each week although, as Bruno said, that cha cha was more like a "salsa disco" dance which Iveta should take some blame for, I disagree with the bib because, if Strictly was a dance contest, then Denise and Natalie should have won

I live in the Attic most of the time and have supported Thom and Iveta from the start, also like Frankie and Kevin and Jake and Janette and wouldn't mind if either couple won

I'm sure Judy, Scott and Alison are very nice in real life but wonder if some people are keeping them in so that they can laugh at them rather than with them

How does everyone feel about there being 2 people on each time? more people would have the chance of winning, & we get lots of requests for double ups anyway.

Let me know what you all think & we can start it next week!!

That s Fine by me, ( sorry if its already been decided, The Real World has kept me away untill now )

Seems like a great idea, definitely restrict the numbers to two at least to start with.

Not sure how much help I will be as my daughter is home for the weekend, but I will do what I can & at least with more bunched up I shouldn't lose people off the bottom.

Judy had to make it through this week so that Andy CAN SEE HER NEXT WEEK, the week after she HAS to make it because the SNP leader will be there, the week after that she HAS to make it through because its Blackpool...etc etc etc

This happens every series. There seems to be more people at the bottom who are gaining votes this series, though. Can sort of see why Judy Murray gets the Scottish vote, but puzzled by what Scott and Alison bring to the show...no improvement, no real comedy IM0...

After 10 years I would have thought that all of us would know how SCD works, and how the audience always save the people at the bottom of the leader board.

The judges more or less got the scoring right on staurday night, all the dancers in some decent order of how they performed on the night. The celebs in the middle of the leader board are always in jeopardy of leaving.

It happens every year, a better dancer being sacrificed when there are two or three who are blatantly worse than the one that has been eliminated. That is the beauty of the show, and why it has good viewing figures, ....... lets be honest it is making people talk about the show, whether in anger or joy.

I don't think I would be totally out of kilter to say that I find Anton and Judy far more entertaining and memorable than either Thom or Simon?? Anton has at last found his ideal partner in Judy, she is his ideal foil for him, and she is trying so very hard.

As for Scott, his time to leave the show will come ....... however would we really want to see another situation like John Sargeant, who was forced to take his bow early before he was voted out, simply because he was getting far too much abuse and backlash?

I am now ambivalent about who is voted out, the show invariably chooses the right celeb as champion though, bar Chris Hollins!!

I think it must be more than the Scottish vote, I think to alot of typical viewers-middle aged women who love the show but cannot dance- they see Judy as sort of doing it for them. I like her attitude and can see more improvement in her than say those who are at the top of the board. I hope Judy, along with Scott and Alison will go over the next few weeks, but for the moment I am enjoying the barmy joy that is Stritcly and refuse to be disgusted, horrified or appalled by any dance off featuring someone who "does not deserve to be there".

Judy is personable.
Anton apparently has a fanbase of his own!!

Thom? Mid-table niceness.
Iveta not yet established.

Simon (to me) comes across as a bit peevish.
Kristina has apparently lost support.

Scott. Well, that I cannot explain. Won't even try.
Joanne. Again. The popularity of these two remains a mystery to me, I'm afraid.

Alison. Jolly. And the judges daren't say anything that smacks of being "fattist".
Aljaz. Popular.

Assuming Simon is in the firing line next week who will be his 'opponent'?
Mid-table Sunetra or Steve?
