What engineer work for Infinity is done in the home ?
Hi all,
I have placed the order to migrate from my LLU service to Infinity and was told by the bloke at BT that a engineer will be visiting my home on a certain date as it looked like some work needed to be done at the home. I was wondering what work this would entail ?, as when my Mum had infinity installed in an older property & further from the exchange / cabinet, she only had to get me to connect up the Homehub. Many thanks |

They may be installing a replacement master socket. This type has the filter built into the faceplate and a separate socket for the modem/router. It also filters any extension wiring you may have. So you no longer need any plug in filters anywhere.
Or there may be a line fault they have detected that needs sorting out. |

Or there may be a line fault they have detected that needs sorting out. , that would be good if they could do that, will have to wait & see now.
