Hello

Can anyone suggest a Tablet that can support Windows 6.5 for remote working please?

It has to be embedded (whatever that means) but some teckies may be able to help with some advice.

Thanks.

No, sorry. You are going to have to explain more clearly what you want it for.

Are you connecting to a Windows 6.5 embedded system?

In a word - YES. It is for a mobile working unit that can only support 6.5

Some good background for you.

Perhaps you could give us a bit more information on why you are wanting to use it?

For example, do you need a tablet which can remotely connect to a cash register, ticket machine or ATM running Embeded 6.5?

I think the answer is going to be a Windows tablet. That way you can run any Remote Desktop software you want.

Hi. It is needed for field-based remote working to collect data and transfer to a secure server.

Just to be clear. Are you looking for:

1) A tablet which you can use to connect to a Windows Enbedded device
or
2) A tablet running Windows Embedded

OK, before giving up...

You won't find a tablet running Windows Embedded. Unless you buy some specialist handheld device which is for a specific industry.

Without you actually saying what it's for, I can only suggest a full Windows 8 tablet which will have the Remote Desktop client and could have any third party communications utility installed on it.

I thought that may be the reply. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
