As per subject line.

I have really admired the new Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. However, I am now reading quite a few reports, including many pictures of cracked backs on these phones. A lot of reports are claiming the phones simply cracked either whilst on charge or just simply sitting in the owners pockets.

I have also read a couple of stories about them cracking while filming in 4K with claims this may be a heat issue.

What's the story here, does any one know. The Z1's had an issue with the screens cracking now it appears to be the rears on the Z3's.

The strange thing is I watched the drop test when they were released - not sure if it was the Compact or the larger model. It passed the test with flying colours, much better then many rivals in fact.
