Such a coincidence.....

.......that when their products are "manufactured" overnight and the courier arrives in the morning with them - its always a person on the team that made the thing being delivered who opens the door. You never get someone from one team opening the door and the courier is delivering the item that the other team made. If you get my drift.

I'd imagine the production team deliberately makes sure that its one of the team that open the door for the correct parcel.

I could be wrong, but I think in a lot of the previous years both teams' products arrived simultaneously, and whoever answered the door was obviously enough of a sport to just give the other team their products without any fuss.

Plus, a lot of courier services nowadays will text or e-mail you with a specific delivery time, so if Roisin's team were told their stuff would show up at 8:30 and a courier arrived at 8:00, it'd be pretty obvious that they were delivering the stuff for Katie's team.

I don't see what the point of that would be. I think for entertainment purposes, it would be more fun if someone from the other team answered the door sometimes, then we'd be able to see teams discussing what their rivals had made.

There is always a window when they hear a vehicle arriving. If you get my drift.

I suspect that they ensure the right person opens the door, with a cameraman in position and the courier briefed not to go "Blimey mate there's a camera behind you".

Would love one year for the person to say, "sorry never hear of them, you must have the wrong address". Lets face it if you were pitching and idea to a retailer, you'd use any tactic to "get one over" on any competitor.

What about if each team accidentally picked up the other team's product instead of their own, and didn't realise until they arrived at the retailer?

That would be funny, I assume they are made to look at their products first, so the sub-team can, and generally do slag off the PM or other sub leader for making a crap product, that none of their team wanted.
