Not the best choice of music, given the association.

A really good start to the show though. I don't like when they start at the top of the stairs, because it's such a waste when they have to run down them. There were faults, and it wasn't his best, but still a solid effort. 7/8 for me.

Boo hoo Len has a cold. Maybe he shouldn't have showed up then - don't want him to pass his cold onto anyone else do we.
Hope it's not Ebola.

The more I see of Jake dancing, the less I like him.

What was with that hopping and jumping?

Lovely choreography ....... Jake is a good dancer, although I do find him a bit cold, surely that isn't shyness?
.
I thought there was a lot of genuine quick step which was good, but the running in and out was pedestrian.

I was taught never before 1st November and never after 11th November or Remembrance Sunday, whichever is later.

Jake's children are probably better scorers than the actual judges.

Pixie's endless preening and gazing at the monitors is starting to get on my nerves.

I thought I saw Janette spring up in the air while walking backwards, perhaps it doesn't count.
that was not a lift, it is called an assisted jump.

The BBC lives in fear of the Daily Mail making a noise about someone not wearing one.
