Most likely they asked her about Halloween and thus she answered about Halloween. Immediately after her both Steve and Sunetra talked about Halloween also, but for some reason you appear to have missed that.

Singling Pixie out for criticism when she said much the same as Steve and Sunetra is just ridiculous.

But at least make your comment fair and mention the others that also spoke about next week. Again, as I said above, you don't know if they all spoke about Thom's exit and that part was edited out. They can't all be winging about his exit!!

I find it hard to believe the BBC, or the SCD producers, or the judges would take the chance of doing something that could kill the show and would certainly damage their reputation and careers if it were found out. It wouldn't be a one-off mini-scandal either; it would be a cheat and deception going back years.”

Of course they don't. This happens every year, the joke contestants stay in a few weeks longer than they should but it usually works out in the end.Lets face it,it is going to be a pretty boring show when only Frankie,Pixie and Jake are left

Sunetra and Brendan spoke about Halloween next week too, and nothing about Thom or Simon. The interviewer was asking these couples a different question !

It wasn't so much what she said, it was the silly, smirky face that was annoying.

Thanks for explaining that. I know they stopped donating to CIN a long time ago. Im surprised in that case that they don't give us more votes on line if they are not making any money on the telephone votes.

Only two couples talked about Thom. The others talked about next week or how nervous they are in the contest.
The editors shows what they like.

I haven't seen accusations of arrogance just that he doesn't like being in the bottom and it shows, it's a fun contest and he'd do better to be more gracious and generous rather than miffed.

He was clearly upset, I guess it's not nice to know that, despite you dancing to a middling standard, you're unpopular with the viewers and it's that lack of popularity that put you in the DO twice.

The BBC charter forbids them from making money this way (and they don't) the money used to go to children in need but doesn't now

hansue, do you have any evidence that the BBC gets a percentage, or is it just speculation?

That's what I thought, but it seems that some still believe the BBC must be making money from it. Is there any definitive source that says one way or the other?

She may be worse than Alison ( Not on the dances this week) but she is definitely better than Scott.

I thought the Beeb would have trouble finding someone worse than Quentin Wilson ... they have succeeded...Come on down Scott Mills

I wonder if that is the same for programmes that give large prizes away like This Morning. I know my local radio station has a competition each week with four alternative answers but it is obvious which the right one is. Ive always thought it was because loads of people ring up and they get a percentage of the calls. Ive a friend who works for a radio station, I must ask him.

The only time she looks interested is when she is on the dance floor with Simon and then it's all about her. I just don't believe any contestant could come across as leading a dance with her.

Why would there be a backlash? Genuine question - I don't know much about her at all.

ITV - as a commercial station- is not bound by the same restrictions as the BBC.

If revenue from calls was important, why would they introduce free on line voting?

It's the BBC Charter which prevents them making money.

ITV probably don't have the same charter so can make money that way. As can a local radio station.

Don't those kind of 'competitions' always tell you the call will cost £5 or something ridiculous like that? So obviously they are making money from it.

I think that's what it was, very unfortunate. At least we know he was singing live (on Saturday).

Shame that Thom went, should have been Scott. I think Simon's dance-off was better, and in the Saturday show Judy Murray was fun and I'm glad she stayed in.

You do realise they're commercial companies and the BBC is statutory corporation established under Royal charter?

Isn't This Morning on ITV?

Anyway, what is the prize on your local radio station? Sometimes the prizes are publicity for whoever is offering them (if the prize is a desirable object, or a holiday, rather than cash).

I don't know why he is not popular. I find Simon reserved but that's his personality and for people to dislike him because of Chrisitina is a bit rough really. Simon was in tears and that shows that he feels for others. I don't think the tears were for himself. He was visibly upset that Thom was not saved.

He probably wouldn't have gone. He would have been in the bottom 4 with Scott, Judy and Alison so one of those three would have been in the dance off with him and Im sure the judges would have then saved Thom
