I am really liking Judy - she is lovely and looks like she's having a great time. I hope she is safe.

I like Judy. It feels a bit like a super fan getting the chance to be on the show and loving it despite not being a great performer. It's made me enjoy Anton a lot more this year as you can tell he's enjoying working with her.

Ah thanks. I thought it might ave been a synonym for "wicked, like, OMG"

I'll have to use it with my favourite tango dancer who is half Irish.

Time we had a cool sparkling Tanda. I was told yesterday by two women that I was the most passionate dancer at the milonga ... I blame the sparkling wine.

I hope that this spell on SCD has shown people that she is not the harridan the press [and Boris Becker] made her out to be. She had an awful time before this when all she was doing was supporting her sons as any mum would do.

When I first saw Judy I wondered what had possessed her to do Strictly. However she is improving albeit slowly and she is having loads of fun. All credit to Anton. He is managing to get her to relax. No mean feat. I find myself in an unusual position. I am loving their partnership and after their Charkeston I find myself looking forward to their next dance.

She is to appear in the Scottish leg of Anton's tour with Erin.

She is winning the public vote according to the Daily Star, who always happen to be accurate about their voting leaks. I guess she has the Scottish vote sewn up.

I'm not sure I would actually vote for her but I am finding myself strangely entertained by her performances. Much more than Scott and Alison and probably on par with Thom. She seems a nice lady too.

Having humorous routines is different from treating her as a joke contestant.

His partnership with Widdecombe is not the same as his partnership with Judy. Widdie didn't bother trying to dance the latin dances so he had to use her as a prop which she happily went along with.

I think since some people objected to his treatment of Nancy he has been very good with Jerry Hall, Fiona Fullerton and Judy.

Just wait until Bonfire Night when the entire Scottish population get trapped on Glasgow Green with no mobile reception...

And due to this a good dancer will possibly leave the show before her

I am assuming you realise the Scottish population can't and will have no desire to fit into
Glasgow Green on Bonfire night. Right?

Well said - I am not Scottish, but feel irritated on behalf of all Scots that the assumption is made they all vote for Judy because she is Scottish. Scots voters have their favourites for whatever reasons they have, same us us south of the border. I think Judy's key audience is more likely to come from us middle aged ladies of all nationalities who think she is one of us - doing the dream job the way we would do it (not very well but with heart).

One of the things I will always thank her for is showing that grey hair can look fabulous. It really bugs me that women feel so much pressure to hide it.

You obviously were not posting on DS the year that Blulu went out Bonfire weekend, and a single misguided Scottish Blulu fan insisted that she couldn't get any votes because of the scenario I outlined.

(I really miss the roll eyes smiley)
