I wish the producers would listen!
Get rid of the awful wooden Tess & bring in Zoe Ball to partner Claudia - mega fun all round!

Oh no ....... please not Zoe, the frantic, gabbling and mumbling drives me nuts..... I like watching ITT but I have to do it through gritted teeth once Zoe talks..... having her on the main show would be awful for me...

Oh do please stop this nasty Tess bashing.
There is nothing wrong with her, she is doing a good job, and at least all the judges get a chance to speak - unlike when Bruce was there and insisted on telling ridiculous long stories and 'jokes'.
She may not be perfect, but no one is. I think she does a very good job, and Claudia is the perfect foil, being a bit kooky and fun.
The show is about the dancing not the presenters - a mistake that Bruce made.
Zoe would definitely NOT be a good idea.

Zoe?

Please don't give me a reason to stop watching the show as well!

Absolutely they should listen! They should get rid of the awful Claudia and bring in Zoe Ball to partner Tess - mega fun all round!

As you can see - there is quite a difference of opinion here so what are the producers supposed to do...obviously listen to me

I am very glad the producers don't listen to anyone on here!!! I'm sick to death of all the bashing of all and sundry. I'm happy just enjoyibg the show and quite frankly, thus whole 'replace Tess with .. As nauseum' stuff is boring now.

You might be shocked about this, but not everyone actually agrees with you. I don't know what show you are watching, but Tess is hopeless. The bashing hasn't come out of nowhere. There are plenty of good reasons for it.

I don't know where this word bashing comes in to it. This is a discussion forum for good comments and critical ones. Like you I am deeply critical of Tess and will continue to do so. But bashing - no way.

Tess is quite competent at doing the job for which she's engaged. It's when she strays away from the auto-cue content, that she seems awkward. She's nor witty, or spontaneous, she's useless at ad-libs but thinks she's not.

Nor is she constantly "in your face" as was the old codger. She just needs "better scripts."
Zoe would not be a good choice, she's too hyper.

I don' t think Tess even is ad libbing. It' s the lines that are lousy. As you say she needs better ones.

You may be right, I really cringed when she said "My darling" to someone, so patronising and so like Bruce. Perhaps it's the same person writing her script?
As you say, they want changing.

Leave the squinting hunchback where she is. She gets the phone numbers right.
I've got a mop in the kitchen with more presence and personality than that big blond.

Iv never ever understood the hatred towards Tess. She looks nice, doesn't over-elaborate and is part of the Strictly legend. Good enough for me.

No please don't. Tess is not particularly engaging but she does the job and Zoe and Claudia are too similar.

I don't watch ITT because of Zoe and the reasons you have mentioned.

Didn't Bruce used to write his own quips? Some of Tess' sound similar. Maybe that is his retainer.

Claudia can mess about a bit more though she clearly gets aided and abetted with props etc. Tess seems to have the Mother Hen role and Claudia the naughty sister who hangs out with the other kids and pranks Mother from time to time.

I agree whole heartedly with all of this... I've only just started watching ITT again. I'm really not very keen on Zoe, but I do enjoy the backstage stuff.
