Len's "Grand Entrance."
The cameras missed most of it, was that deliberate?
The bit I saw, showed he's certainly feeling and looking his age. A bit geriatric. |

Len's grand entrance probably needs scaffolding by now

We kept having power cuts last night and I missed the beginning of the show. Grrrrrrr
![]() I missed Jake's dance. Grrrrrr ![]() I missed the judges entrance but I'm sure I heard someone say that Len was ill. He certainly was giving Bruno the evil eye most of the evening, maybe he had a bad headache. |

I can't understand why Len is allowed to get away with looking so grumpy for most of the time. It's supposed to be a light entertainment show but he looks as if any minute he's about to put on the black cap and pronounce the death sentence. Even Craig smiles more than him these days.

He's already presented a couple of dance-related documentaries. One on the Harland & Wolff built Titanic in Norther Ireland, for which his experience as a "failed welding apprentice" for them, never having worked outside of London, was considered just right for the job as presenter. A current one about "remembered holidays," (fifteen naffin' programmes) and one to come with Lucy Worsley, (history of dancing). This noticeably erudite font of knowledge, (of apparently, everything?) could become a regular documentary presenter. I can only presume it's a combination of his perceived popularity and what they pay him, that is the big attraction for the BBC. But who'd knock it in his position? Good luck to him. Perhaps that's what's affecting his head? I like watching the look on his face when either Craig or Bruno "have the camera." Mind you, those two are just as bad, when the positions are reversed. |

He was ill last night, but on top of that he's no spring chicken, so none of his entrance's have been great. To be fair, none of the judges really look like wonderful dancing articles just on that few second bit, but I suppose that's the amusing point of it. I suppose they can argue they've done their time in their dancing careers.

He seemed merrily pee'd off with Bruno (even more than usual)
Did Bruno kick him in the head ? (disclaimer: now Brucie thankfully gone, another 'legend' I'd like to see gracefully retire. Ageist me ).
