Sunetra & Judy for me.

I like Sunetra's bubbliness & down to earth ways.

I'm really growing to like Judy with her dry wit & work ethic.

Judy? Good job life is subjective........

Talking a lot and hardly letting others get a word in does not equal personality to me.

I agree with the CC - Sunetra and Judy are the ladies I am liking the most. Sunetra shines on the dance floor and Judy off it. I love that despite comments every bit as harsh as Scott's, Judy is still committed to each dance and giving her all on the night.

It would probably be hair-splitting to start a third thread on Genuine Character, but into that I would put Steve for his absolute determination to meet a challenge, even if it all but kills him, yet who Is a gentle and modest guy; and Judy, who despite her immense grittiness turns out to be a lovely funny lady.

Back on topic:
I very much like how Sunetra seems to be but don't know enough about her life to talk of character. She certainly has oodles of personality, and I enjoy Jake's understated edge and humour.

Simon I think is largely misunderstood. Seems a good guy to me, quiet but sincere and emotionally there. Even if he can appear aloof or snitty.

Loved Caroline's Rwanda thing so I'll mention her too.

Haha, have you ever been to Stirlingshire? It's all blank-faced rural types who respond to everything with a one-shouldered shrug and a request for another pint. I once spoke to a woman from Bridge of Allan whose husband had been put in a coma and lost an arm, and she described it as "Aye, he's been a bit unwell this past month". I have heard, with my own ears, a two million quid lottery win being described as "Aye, no bad" by the winner and have been in a 70mph wheel-explosion on the A9 which was subsequently described as "a bit of a bugger".

By the standards of the area, Judy is a gurning, turned-to-11 maniac. Shit, by the standards of the area Mr. Spock would need to wind it in a bit...

I feel genuinely sorry for Simon - he doesn't seem to get the credit he deserves for his performances. Having said that initially he came across as cocky and over confident but then seemed to realise that and adopted what appeared to me a 'faux' humility.

I think he just needs to be himself and let his dancing do the talking.

Simon comes across much better on ITT than he does on the live show.

He does too. I think I'm getting my impression of him from Tristan's interview where he said how well he'd got on with Simon, and most of all by Gregg's Torygraph diary. When he had those horrible panic attacks among a few others who tried to help, Simon was the one who would go to his dressing room to give him real time. This was when everyone was convinced Gregg was the devil and Simon arrogant. But privately one was suffering and the other acted like a mensch. But it's also the way Simon talked about his mum in the audience and how he was with his daughter...
