Brand new on the scene with a voice so reminiscent of the late Karen Carpenter, its uncanny.
She calls herself Harriet.

There is a bit of the late great Karen in her voice, i agree. There is also a small essence of Faith hill i can detect as well.

Karen Carpenter is truly wonderful. Her voice really moves me.

My favorite Carpenters song (though a cover) is 'Superstar' & I also love 'Yesterday Once More'

I remember people saying the same thing about Rumer when she first appeared.

This lady sounds much more like KC, though she hasn't quite got the depth and resonance.

One of those very few artists where she sings every song like she truly means it. She had one of the most powerful emotional voices ever to have existed.

I grew up listening to Carpenter Cd's that my Mum used to play, loved Karen's voice was so tragic when she passed away. I think that a couple of my favourite tracks were "Only Yesterday", "Top of the world", "Rainy Days & Monday's", but having said that, I loved the majority of the songs from The Carpenters. In fact I still watch "The Karen Carpenter Story" starring Cynthia Gibb from time to time.

She sounds like her but the songs aren't that strong at all. She needs a Richard Carpenter.
