Gregg-Pieman9

I bought an Iphone 4 from Apple about 4 years ago, its got a few cracks in screen, so is it possible I can take it to shop and be upgraded. If so will there be any extra charge or will I be entitled to a new phone upright

Is it on contract or did you pay for it outright? If you paid for it outright you will definitely not be entitled to an upgrade. You might be if you got it on contract. Call up your carrier and ask. Apple won't be able to do anything for you.

If you bought the phone outright then you are on a SIM only contract. You can upgrade the SIM only contract to a phone-contract at a Three store, or you can buy another phone outright from Apple and get your SIM swapped at a Three store (4S uses micro SIM, all newer iPhones use nano SIM).

Apple would give you £24 trade in for an iPhone 4 with a cracked screen. It doesn't seem a lot.
