imo the best dance to get on halloween theme nights is either tango or paso cos they fit the theme so well - so not surprised if Pixie has tango (she has been given best music/prop less routines so far)

I've always thought, although not traditional, Rihanna's 'Disturbia' would be a good choice for a Tango / Argentine Tango - especially with the "bum bum bee dum"'s at the beginning which would be perfect for flicks of the leg and head jolts etc.

Oh my gosh, how strange!Strictly always seem to use music that I often say would suit a dance. Just yesterday they played 'Pencil Full Of Lead' in the background of a VT. Obviously this wasn't to a Jive or Samba as I'd anticipated, but it was still funny to think of them using the song in some form. (I have to admit the music arrangement to Louis' Tango was horrific, slightly underwhelming for me). |

I don't think that's particularly related to Halloween week - Frankie said in a video for last week's show that she and Kevin tend to have those biscuits in training, nothing special. At least, I hope so... I've enough nightmares from the last time someone danced to Ghostbusters...

Carol Smillie did a Waltz followed by a Viennese Waltz... Chris Hollins did a Group Viennese Waltz followed by a Waltz... Kara Tointon did a Viennese Waltz and a Waltz two weeks on the trot, but with 4 dances between them (Semi-Finals/Finals)... Harry Judd did a Viennese Waltz and a Viennese Waltz American Smooth two weeks on the trot, but with 2 dances between them (Semi-Finals/Finals)... But no-one's ever gone straight from a Viennese Waltz to a Waltz before.

Alison has Charleston, it's on the co-choreographer's (Jenny Thomas) Facebook page.
Jenny did both of last weeks Charlestons (assisted by Scott Cupit, recently on Dragon's Den) and I'll assume she'll do Steve's (she and her ex husband/dance partner, Ryan Francois did the Cola Charleston). Not sure if you have to be her friend to see the post but I'll try and get a link. |
