Alison and Aljaz should invite Robin in to help with the choreography - he's the king of jazz hands for big girlz

Alison & Aljaz - Charleston (Jenny Thomas' facebook)
Caroline & Pasha - Samba (Caroline's twitter)
Frankie & Kevin - ?
Jake & Janette - ?
Judy & Anton - Foxtrot (Judy in Mirror article)
Mark & Karen - ?
Pixie & Trent - Tango (Trent's twitter)
Scott & Joanne - ?
Simon & Kristina - ?
Steve & Ola - Charleston (Steve's twitter)
Sunetra & Brendan - ?

I think Sunetra's tweet was just referring to doing better this week than with the salsa so wouldn't take it as confirmation of doing waltz.

Tango , Paso and Waltz are EXCELLENT dances to have during Halloween week; The rest ? Not so much so I expect either of the top 4 or Sunetra to top the leaderboard this week

But only if they both get good songs and themes it will be a fare Tango off.

exactly!! Though it could be a coincidence him calling her Frankenstein would not mind the theme from the 2014 film Misgiving by Maker

Can't wait for Jake and Janette's paso and the battle of the tangos between Pixie and Frankie - picking Pixie to win that one (she'll probably give Frankie a poisoned apple to eat before the show begins )

she probably will win it - can see her being given the better music and theme

I'm surprised they haven't used Heads will roll by the yeah yeah yeahs yet. That would be quite good for a tango.

This from Janette about the Halloween pro routine -

Janette Manrara @JManrara · 9h 9 hours ago

Pro rehearsals going good! Absolutely love this routine! Can't say much but as a little girl I dreamed of being what I'll be in this dance!

Witch? Flesh-eating zombie? Ed Gein?

Wicked came out in 2003....I think Janette must be in her 30s? Unless she is witch from Wizard of Oz. Can't see Jake as a scarecrow or flying monkey though

She is about to turn 31 in November. I did think Wizard of Oz but knew Wicked was more musical. She was referring to the pro dance though so maybe lots of munchkins!

Sooo...

Caroline & Pasha - Samba (Caroline's twitter)
Frankie & Kevin - Tango ( ITT)

Looking forward enormously to Jake's paso, should be epic. And I like the idea of Pixie and Frankie facing off on the tango.

Please please please Gods of Strictly, let us have some appropriate classical music for a change, rather than tenuous 80's pop songs with 'died' or similar in them!

I have no knowledge of any kind of song timing for the dances but I did wonder if they would try and shoehorn Ghost by Ella Henderson in somewhere as it's a current pop song.
