How is it ironic? I took answers to mean the solution and yes the guesses form all possible solutions as to the identity of Missy but I don't think it justifies a thread saying All Answers about Missy and then the thread solely contains threads or web pages where people make uninformed guesses.

I don't know the answers. Anyone who claims at this point in the series that they do know the answers is lying or has inside knowledge. My thread title was supposed to be semi-ironic with relation to some threads claiming to know all the answers about Missy.

Speculation, is perfectly acceptable and should be encouraged. However, creating a brand new thread to discuss a new theory or speculation is as bad as the someone who claims to know facts with nothing to back it up. When there are active threads already discussing speculation about Missy, why create a new one? The only reason I can think of is because some people want to make sure their speculation/theory gets top billing, quite literally they think their views are more important than others discussing the same topic and it deserves its own thread.

Am I the forum police, do I expect everyone on the forum to change? No.
Am I the only one complaining that people are creating duplicate threads? No.
Is it wrong to make a humorous thread pointing fun at people who can't see existing threads on the topic they want to discuss? No
Do I expect that for any reason I am special so everyone should sit up and pay attention to everything I post? No
Have I been guilty of not using the search function before? Yes, probably.
Am I big enough to make criticisms that are equally applicable to me? Yes

Despite all this, do I think we are now getting quite an awful lot of Missy speculation threads? Yes

I made a new thread to indicate that there are already 7 threads with Missy in the title.

I made this thread to highlight the search button.

Maybe I have a new fangled computer which is the only one in the world that can scroll a web page so when I log on this forum I can see several threads and not just the top one, and so I can see other Missy threads.

Someone needs to take that shovel off him, for his own good.

If "him" is me then I disagree but anyway, you appear determined to label me as forum police, with no justification. If thats your opinion fine.
