But her brooch is very interesting:
It's a style - shell cameo - that was popular in Victorian times (The Next Doctor/The Paternoster Gang).
It is a style that dates back to Roman times (The Fires of Pompeii).
It appears to depict a goddess. Possibly Athena or her Roman equivalent Minerva. Both were goddesses of wisdom and strategic warfare.
It seems to tie in with an awful lot - particularly clues as to why the 12th Doctor 'chose' that particular face.
But could, of course, just be a brooch.
