Does anyone recall the title & performer names of a hit single from 1975 or 1976, which was an instrumental, consisting of what sounded like South American-type pipes playing a slow haunting melody?

The theme from 'Flight of the Condor', or something? That was 1982-ish, though.

Not from Flight of the Condor like I thought, but was a Top 20 hit.

I've found it myself. It was this one, for anyone else who's curious.

I was thinking it sounded South American-but the performer's Romanian, according to the Guinness Book of British Hit Singles, which says the title translates as 'Light of Experience'.

yeah.......that was putting me off from finding it because my memory is the tune being played on nature documentaries about the Andes and condors.......so I was sidetracked into listening to those endless versions of 'flight of the condor'.....
