Hudl 2 - does changing to Google Now Launcher remove the parental controls?
Satellite John

I bought the Hudl 2 purely for the parental controls, so my three year old can have a tablet. However after purchasing it, I am a bit annoyed about the amount of Tesco bloatware apps on it. I understand that changing the Launcher to either Google Now or Nova Launcher will enable these Tesco apps to be removed off the homescreen? However, does changing the launcher also remove the parental controls?
Many thanks for any help.

The Child Safety functionality is an app in its own right, so shouldn't be unaffected by a launcher change. I just added a child profile and have the Google Now launcher.
