Men most def do get cellulite! I've seen it, bum area (just like where girls get it) and around their arm areas too. Mostly seen it on muslced men surprisingly (which you wouldn't think makes sense, unlike with with the overweight guys). Some guys might get it from growth spurts, skin stretching, otherwise how else can they get them if they're relatively toned, unless they were carrying puppy weight at some point before in their lives). So girls, there will be guys suffering from this same insecurity too despite the idea it's only a female problem.

Actually it's deliberate misinformation.
It's Trent, via an alien implant. |

The way the wardrobe department has been dressing Caroline Flack had raised suspicions in my mind. They certainly want to re-think their ideas if there isn't a physical reason why they are making such an otherwise petite woman look relatively dumpy around the torso.

If Ola is pregnant wouldn't she be concerned with being flung about by Steve - e.g. with the Charleston they are supposedly doing this week??

If someone is pregnant, then they haven't announced it, which may mean they are not far enough into the pregnancy to want people to know or there may be other reasons for keeping it quiet. I really do think Chris Evans has been a bit thoughtless encouraging such speculation.
Dancers...Women in the public eye...Body image problems? Eating disorders? Gosh, how do they start? |

But surely being pregnant is a beautiful thing, something to be celebrated, nothing whatsoever to do with eating disorders and body image. I get your point about being scrutinised but no names whatsoever were mentioned on the radio or in the title of the thread. My daughter is currently undergoing IVF treatment for the second time after a first failed attempt. I can assure you that nothing would give her greater pleasure than to be pregnant and showing it!

I think its Craig. He's been looking a bit pale and I said to my husband that it looked like the effects of morning sickness.

I'm particularly surprised that you would choose to start this thread, OP, after what you've revealed about your daughter. It's very difficult for anyone going through the pain of infertility to have to put up with the expectations of those around them to announce their pregnancy, the "you'll be next" comments at christenings etc. For all we know, any of the dancers or celebs could be in that position. Magnify the pressure of friends and family a thousandfold for anyone in the public eye having to put up with that type of speculation in the media, on social networks etc while dealing with their private struggle. |
